For me sushi is one of the meals that I have to be in the mood to eat. Don't get me wrong I really enjoy sushi but it is not something that I can eat several times a week...my wife on the other hand can eat it everyday. That being said.. I really count Yokozuna as my GO TO place... More

Business dinner for 5 and all were delighted. Huge variety of choices, almost a bit overwhelming. Good choices of sushi, sashimi, rolls. Very eclectic sushi rolls with a fusion style of ethnic choices that make you want to try them all. Wait staff was good and food portions were average. Recommend the flight of saki if you want to do... More

Went with friends. Had sushi and drinks. Yummy! The sushi was great! Loved the space- we were at downtown location. Lots of people, had to wait a bit. Will return.

The ambiance was good. The restaurant looks new and has a funky Asian feel. The menu clearly calls out the Gluten free items and the dairy was called out in the ingredients. I ordered the sashimi dinner which was 10 pieces for $22. I thought it was quite expensive for 10 pieces, but when the dish arrived it all made... More

We have been here a couple of times recently for dinner and had a great experience. The food has been really good and service was fantastic. We had a sampler appetizer and sushi, both were excellent. Loved the hot mess, it was non traditional sushi but super yummy. Also had a few basics like a spicy tuna and some sashimi,... More

This is a nice restaurant for sushi. I tried the 6 piece sushi combo, pork appetizer spring rolls and the scallop rolls. The best was the sushi combo that was fresh, very large pieces and presented well. Scallop roll was fine but nothing to die for and forget the spring rolls, standard chinese restaurant fare not worth ordering. Service was... More

I was a bit disappointed in this place. Not your typical sushi place. The ambiance was kinda weird. Wooden tables like a country bar would have a waitresses with purple hair. The sushi itself was also disappointing. There was a lot of filler items on the rolls and the actual fish part of it was very small. The edamame was... More

We go here quite a bit. The cocktails are great but their selection of alcohol in general is good. The fish is fresh and fantastic. Their sashimi is awesome, the rolls are great and unique and the wait staff is very attentive. The younger crowd is downtown, south side is completely different. Both are amazing. Highly recommend.

Situated in the heart of the Blue Dome District, Yokozuna is a great place for sushi, drinks and the start a of a fun evening downtown. The restaurant is within walking distance to many other establishments around the Blue Dome. The food here is good and the service is great. The sushi chefs behind the counter were busy rolling and... More
