Scrumptious breakfast was a hit with our entire party except one. The pancakes were not 'plain' enough for the littlest traveler, but the waffles were fantastic and everyone left full and happy. A plain piece of white paper is put over the tablecloth and kiddos like to amuse themselves with tic tac toe while waiting on dinner. Ask the chef... More

We were staying at the Ambassador Hotel and decided to make it simple and eat in the hotel restaurant. We are glad we did. The food was excellent and the service was solid. I think my martini was $6.50! What a deal.

We visited the Chalkboard at an early hour before the restaurant had very many customers. Our wait-person was very attentive to our needs. As the restaurant began to fill up, the attention did not diminish in the least. The wait-person recommended a wine to accompany or fish entre which appealed to one in our party, but not the other. The... More

The Chalkboard is one of our family favorites in Tulsa, OK. It is in the basement of an historic hotel, The Hotel Ambassador. Our favorite thing to do besides just eating there is to celebrate Mother's Day or the like by staying at the hotel including dinner. Their beds are super comfortable. Something about a customized mattress that is made... More

This is one of the best continental cuisine restaurants in this town. It is near downtown, and has a first class boutique hotel in the building.

We had the Duck Hash for appetizers as it was the only thing that jumped out at us on the appetizer list. I think it would have been much better if it was a bigger portion and didnt have an egg on top (tasted nothing but the egg yoke-- very generic 'breakfasty' taste). But the drinks and entrees (gnocci and... More

This restaurant is good on it's own. It's not just a hotel restaurant. The menu is great and the staff was friendly.
