Very Friendly Service and Great Nostalgia

Arrived well after the lunch crowd, so the cafe was quiet. I was greeted immediately by a very friendly server. I do not remember her name, but she is such a great asset to your place. (I know she had only been there for about 4 weeks or so.) I loved chatting with her. The food was not my... read more

We stopped to eat while driving between OKC and Tulsa. Staff was super nice and fast. Menu has good variety, from healthy salads to deep fried. A diner with better than average diner fair and a fantastic history.

We stop here on every trip into the city. It is a Stroud, Route 66 destination. Don't expect fancy, but do go. The Rock has friendly folks and delicious food. A favorite is the smothered chicken. My daughter says they serve the best hotdogs ever. Servings are good sized and drinks are topped off. Your drink is served in a... More

We were driving on the Route 66 and wanted to stop by at Rock Café that we had heard about. There were quite a few people there in the afternoon when we came and they said we had to come back to get food. We said we just wanted coffee so that was ok and we had our seats. It's... More

A really cool restaurant with fabulous breakfasts. We signed the visitor book and also the wall! A bit of a biker haunt but still fun for the Route 66 car traveller!

Inordinate time required to get an order and the rudeness of the waitstaff. I understood the first time they were busy, very ordinary food above average price. The second visit There only two other diners still took the same amount of time we could have taken a long nap. The dining room was cold. I got a song and dance about... More

Hello Gwinginit, You left a similar review on our Square receipt system at 8:30pm which is 30 mins after we close. As with every complaint, I go back and review the cameras and staff. I wanted to reply but you made certain that we could not reply back to your complaint. This always makes me wary when someone makes a... More

Traveling Route 66 this Aug., stopped for breakfast in this wonderful café. Service was exceptional, food outstanding and the BEST coffee I had on the entire trip!! My breakfast consisted of hashbrowns (grilled to perfection), ham & cheese omlet (loaded with ham), toast & jelly. Needless to say, I couldn't finish it all!!!! Got to see "Betsy", the 75yr. old... I stopped here for lunch while driving from OKC to Tulsa on Route 66. I got the recommended Jaegerschnitzel. It is a breaded veal cutlet with gravy and a side of Spraetzel which is a noodle-type dish. It was delicious. Service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended.

We were looking for a familiar - home made restaurant and for sure this is one you wont forget. Fantastic burgers and other non so common food (spaetzels) you need to taste. Very nice staff, really kind.

Decent food, good atmosphere, portions were adequate, absolutely no locals present during lunch hour rush despite the place being packed. good service, upsell pricing. I asked how much it would cost to add cheese to my french fries, and was told $0.75. I figured that was fair, since it was $0.50 to add it to a hamburger and it takes... More
