A Piece of Route 66 History

We stopped by the Rock Cafe after a friend recommended it to us. The service was super friendly and it was fun to be a part of a little bit of history on Route 66. My husband got the chicken fried steak and was very pleased with the taste and quality of the meal. Everyone we dined with enjoyed... read more

OK folks! This is a must for the family! The owner is up daily at the Crack of dawn making everything you eat with love. The food is made from scratch-no box nothing. Famous for chicken fry, some German named dish, buffalo burgers, etc.... but what makes this place special is the history. Thank you to the special waitress Sandy... More

This is our third trip to Rock Cafe on our Harleys. It was, again, wonderful! I love the cheese omlette, biscuits/gravy, and hash browns. Yum. Food portions are generous, waitresses sweet, and diet coke with an endless refill! Go. You won't be sorry!

We stopped here with a group of 24 Harley riders last weekend. Even with that many people, they seated us and we all had a great time. Try the Jaegerschnitzle.

We ate at this resturant because it was recommended in a travel book, and I'm happy we did! My boyfriend got the fried pickles, which were good but a little repetitive tasting after awhile, and I got the Rock Cafe spaetzle and it was delicious ! I would recommend this appetizer. It was flavourfull and very unique tasting. The server... More

This place was way cool! The food and the service were awesome and reasonable. Lots to look at and converse about in the restaurant itself as well as outside.

I tried both the buffalo burger and the jaeger schnitzel with spaetzle. I enjoyed the burger more but both were well prepared. Burger was top notch with excellent flavors. Even bun toasted to perfection. Gravy on pork was excellent as well. Service was fine. No complaints. Would return.

The birthplace of Cars! So much fun for my daughter and such a cool historic building. Burgers and onion rings were delicious.
