Decent food, good atmosphere, portions were adequate, absolutely no locals present during lunch hour rush despite the place being packed. good service, upsell pricing. I asked how much it would cost to add cheese to my french fries, and was told $0.75. I figured that was fair, since it was $0.50 to add it to a hamburger and it takes... More

Had meatloaf and great dessert-oatmeal pie for supper and came back the next morning for crepes and omelete for breakfast. Food was melt in your mouth, services was exceptional, atmosphere and history of the restaurant very fun.

Are you kidding me???? This was the absolute HILITE of my day. My boyfriend and I are on my Route 66 (50th) birthday trip and I couldn't be more excited. Rock Cafe was our very first stop on the route (we flew from Vancouver to Wichita and drove from Wichita to Stroud. We are huge history fanatics and love all... More

We loved stopping here.....one of the inspirations for cars. My husband had one of the specials which was pork and spaetzl and I had a chicken salad. We both enjoyed our choices. The wait person was great and told up about the fire they had and the rebuild of the restaurant. So glad they did rebuild. We would recommend this... More

The Rock Cafe is like a number of funky cafes and restaurants along 66. I tersting memorabilia, friendly staff who seem to care about the Mother Road and all of us asking our way along it. We only had time for coffee but Courtney, who waged on us, was terrific. Don't miss it. And catch the autographs all over the... More

Stopped here for lunch whilst travelling Route 66 to Santa Monica. Food was usual roadhouse grub but well-presented and served by really pleasant and caring waitress. Good value for what was provided and worth a stop if you are passing by on Route 66. Eat here and you will not be disappointed.

Very nice atmosphere in the cafe, super friendly staff. Shame the food wasn't so good... Very plain and hash browns undercooked.
