I stopped by Rock Café in Stroud on the way back to Okla. City - A friend told me about place - The hamburgers were fantastic - I am not much for eating chips or fries but the Rock Cafe' must be using some good meat in their hamburgers.

Although we only live <60 miles from here, this was our 1st visit but won't be our last! Boys loved it & enjoyed seeing all the memorabilia, cars goodies, & most of all writing on the walls. Food was great. Friendly service as expected in OK. It won't disappoint! Save room for some homemade peach cobbler ala mode.

Bryane had the buffalo burger and onion rings. I had the jagerschitzel and spaetzle. Our entrees were yummy. Lane was our server and Amber was the cook. Lane spent sometime showing us the various pictures and memorabilia in the restaurant. He also gave us some information about the area. He was delightful. Don't miss if in the area!

I was a little hesitant after reading other reviews but we stopped and thoroughly enjoyed the meal...and the homemade dessert. The staff was courteous, the food was prompt and fresh and delicious and the atmosphere was fun! My children, husband and I would definitely stop by again if ever in this part of Oklahoma.

We travelled from Tulsa to meet with family from OKC. We got there a little earlier than expected, and had a hungry and fidgety 3 year old grandson with us. We were greeted warmly and the waiter, Lane, was exceptionally patient with the little one we were trying to corral! He is probably a highschool aged young man, certainly not... More

Everything was great except the mashed potatoes tasted like instant--instant pot have a very distinctive aftertaste which is what I received with the potatoes on my hamburger steak order. Very disappointed in that--wonder if they gave Guy instant pot? What gives-they are not fast food and they are a notable café, why would they do this? The hamburgers and the... More

My husband and I have pulled off the Turner Turnpike more than once to eat at this quaint little diner because we can always count on the burgers being juicy and flavorful. We also enjoy the eclectic and fun decor. (Even the restrooms are interesting!) Our waiter, Lane, was both personable and efficient. Our food was served timely and our... More

Like other reviews, this is a must do while traveling the mother road. It is a small, historic place with great food and service. I believe that the owner was an inspiration for portion of the Disney Cars movie. Had the meatloaf special and it was out of this world!

Tonight we traveled an hour to go to dinner at the Rock Cafe. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was awesome, but the best part of the night was our busboy, Lane. He had such a great attitude, took pictures for us, and asked the cook to make us bread pudding three minutes before the kitchen closed. The rest of... More
