We hasn't eaten here in several years and decided to go back last month. Was pleasantly surprised. The server was wonderful! She was very sweet and attentive. My 2 year old ate the pb&j and loved it! Lots of peanut butter. Husband had chicken fried steak and I had pork with spaetzel. It was pretty greasy, but I enjoyed the... More

A group of high school friends took a trip down memory lane and stopped at the Rock House for lunch. We had eclectic choices, a few of which included a buffalo burger patty on a bed of greens, the daily special of Indian tacos, a cheeseburger and chicken Quesada. All reported they liked their meals and would go back again....... More

The Rock is "Classic Route 66." The food is great - put your mind into a Route 66 setting - and enjoy. The crowds can be huge - but the wait is worth it. They know how to serve food the "old fashioned" way. Forget the boutique garbage of today. Enjoy some history and live just for a moment in... More

What a great place - truly. Not only were we, a tired family of four, well fed at the end of the night (just before closing) but the service was great. They even opened up their gift shop again so we could take a look around. While we did not meet Beverly, the famous owner now forever memorialized as Flo... More

A group of 8 motorcycle riders took a morning breakfast ride to Stroud OK. We called ahead, they were more than happy to reserve us a table. The service was great. I had the pancakes and some crispy bacon, more than I could eat. Others had the omelet, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito, eggs and sausage with no complains. We... More

During my sister's and my trip to visit out aunt in California in late June/early July 2014, we tried to stay on Route 66 as much as possible and, of course, this was one of the gems we found along the way. My Mother and I had made the trip back in October 2010, but didn't eat at the Rock... More

We arrived with at least 30 of our motorcycle friends and they didn't miss a beat. The owner gave the story of how she acquired the place and the history. The girl car in the movie Cars is based on her life. Food was served hot and quick. Lots to choose from. Clean bathrooms. Parking is tight. Gift shop next... More

Our experience was indescribable. The food menu was what we would expect from a Route 66 diner but taste & quality were a cut above! Service was amazing. We felt like guests in a home not customers. Beverly took time out from her busy schedule to answer our many questions. Our server, Roberta, did an excellent job & her coworkers... More
