Great place filled with history. Oldest cafe in the state. Try the huge burrito. The chicken fried steak is wonderful. Oh. And don't forget the homemade pies.

WOW. I was traveling through Perry a little after noon and wanted a quick bite. I drove down to the square and notices a cluster of cars parked on the north side. The theater marquee said something about food.... I parked and hesitatingly walked in. I was greeted very warmly and handed a menu. Shortly we received our drink order... More

Love the atmosphere....Pie is awesome, great coffee, family priced meals served aplenty! This is the place to go and mingle with the locals. Sports and well known stars visit here.

Hotel clerk recommended for "Home Cooking." It was that and more: pleasant, efficient service, normal size portions, good country fried steak and okra.

We stopped here on a road trip and I am glad we did! The waitress recommended the burgers and they were great! And, say "yes" when she asks if you want onion rings- yummy! The guy at the next table had chili cheese fries and I almost asked for a bite, they looked that good! The staff is very friendly... More

We stumbled into the small town of Perry Oklahoma looking for something for dinner other than the grease pit dining available on the freeway. We almost didn't go in, but we had no alternatives. We discovered a real gem of good food prepared and served in an Americana atmosphere that includes photos of Pretty Boy Floyd, who once held up... More

We walked into a warm and friendly atmosphere after a day in the cold (early January). I had coffee, pie, and a salad for lunch. The salad was the after though, as it was coconut pie with 3-inch thick Meringue that got my attention. It was really hard to decide, the menu is well versed in homestyle cooking, some Mexican,... We read about this place which has been there for 82 years! Had a great breakfast and even had a talk to the owner. Very interesting story she told about the Oklahoma bombing and how the arrest of Tim McVey went down in Perry. Pictures on the wall of people who have eaten there, one of which is the trooper... On a Friday night, we arrived at 7:40 p.m. The sign on their door said they were open until 8:00 p.m. A woman met us at the door and told us they had already thrown out all their food and were closed.
