Support Local Places! Worth the effort.

Get off the highway and see this 82 year old effort. If you expect McDonalds uniformity, Subway predictability, or Applebee's options, then keep driving. If you like character, friendly people, and fair food at fair prices, drop by. Pig sandwich was ok, not great. Beans were quite good. Brisket... read more

The restaurant has great atmosphere with antiques and memorabilia everywhere. Great conversation pieces. Great food and reasonably priced.

Eat the seasoned cheese fries. You won't regret it. Another great item on the menu is the burger, it's really good. The feel of the restaurant is cool and old timey with old farming equipment hanging around and just anything old you can think of.

Great place to have an ice cold beer, good old fashion hamburger and real french fries in Pauls Valley, OK. They are known for their Pig Sandwich & Smoked Prime Rib (only on Friday nights). This place has been around since 1933 and only 2 owners during their 82 years of business. Phil and Susan Henderson, current owners, are a... More

While traveling through the area, my friends and I decided to try this place rather than the fast food chains closer to the highway. We all had the pig sandwich, and we all loved it! Great service, too. Love the quiet cozy feel and the hickory smell. Very impressed.

This place has the best hamburgers and a wonderful thing called a pig sandwich! The Susan's salad is amazing! The people working there are so friendly and down home. My grandkids love looking at all of the things on the walls and hanging from the ceiling! Lots of atmosphere!!

The "pig" sandwich was great. There are plenty of other things on the menu, but I had to have the pig sandwich if I was going to experience the real thing. The atmosphere is very casual and the food prices are extremely reasonable. We usually look for off-the-beaten-path places to eat when we travel and ask the locals for their... More

A quaint and tasty restaurant. Like stepping back in time, not a fancy place by any means, but a fun place to eat. We had their signature "Pig sandwich" which is a sliced pork sandwich with pickle and beans on the side (on request) all for $5.50. The sandwich has a tasty spicy relish which was quite enjoyable. Very friendly... More

This is a place that has been around a long time. Not the best BBQ, but still worth the try. You won't be disappointed.
