The "pig" sandwich was great. There are plenty of other things on the menu, but I had to have the pig sandwich if I was going to experience the real thing. The atmosphere is very casual and the food prices are extremely reasonable. We usually look for off-the-beaten-path places to eat when we travel and ask the locals for their... More

A quaint and tasty restaurant. Like stepping back in time, not a fancy place by any means, but a fun place to eat. We had their signature "Pig sandwich" which is a sliced pork sandwich with pickle and beans on the side (on request) all for $5.50. The sandwich has a tasty spicy relish which was quite enjoyable. Very friendly... More

This is a place that has been around a long time. Not the best BBQ, but still worth the try. You won't be disappointed.

Everyone should attend the festival once in their life time just to see the local characters and eat the BBQ. Beer is cold and menu would make a cardiologist happy - otherwise the place could use some remodel and cleaning.

Although Bob's Pig Shop is located in town rather than near the expressway it is definitely worth the trip into town. The focus is on fine food not quickness so be prepared to wait awhile but it is certainly worth it. Everything on the menu is given a special touch like none you will find anywhere else. The ambiance is... More

Small town atmosphere - great food. I had the Susan Salad based on a recommendation to me. It was great. I will go back if ever in PV again. Service was average. The owner, or what appeared to be the owner, was more interested in answering trvia questions on TV than on helping guests...

Try the pig sandwich!! Mmmmmm! Seasoned cheese fried are excellent as well. The best table is the round wall table.

We stopped for lunch at Bob's the day of the Okie Noodling Competition so we understood the very slow service. We had the Pig Sandwich, pork loin and ribs. The ribs were very good, the pork loin and sides were so so and sandwiches rather spicey for our tastes. (It did not indicate on the menu.) During out stay we... More
