Great Home Cooking and Outstanding Pies

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant in okc. The food is great, the chicken fried steak was really good with some really good corn bread. The pies at the end of the meal make it a must eat.

Pioneer Pie is a great local restaurant with a "home town" feel and the "southern menu" reflects it. From the fried okra and black eyed peas, to the meat loaf, to 'chicken fried' items, if you like southern cooking, you'll love Pioneer Pies. And, of course, with most dinners, you get your choice of pie for dessert. Kiss your diet... More

Three of us went for a late breakfast and all 3 enjoyed it. Brenda, our server, was prompt and provided good service. I had an omlete that was served with buscuits and gravy. The other two people had an egg and bacon combo. The servings are very good size. Noise level was low-moderate but there were not many people there.... More

If you like biscuits (cat head), chili dishes, chicken fired steak and oh yeah PIE, then this is your place. The food is great. The bathrooms are a little on the skanky, but I didn't go there to use the bathroom.

I love me some cream pie and this is the go-to place in Oklahoma City to get them. This was the first time to try the German Chocolate Cream and it was very good. My wife had the peanut Butter Cream and the tiny taste she gave up tasted like Reese's Peanut Butter Cup. The baked potato soup and chicken... More

Not over the top on anything but a fair place to eat. Pies okay but dated decor and not so fantastic design

Restaurant is a little dingy and could use an update. The food is good and is a good value. Their pies are home made and are always good. Service is usually good.

Purchased strawberry pie and a coconut cream pie to go. The pies were excellent. Seven different people tried the pies. Everyone was thrilled.
