Nice casual dinner…best Sunday brunch!

I have been going to La Baguette in OKC for several years…and after a hiatus that took me out of town for the last few years it was nice to return and find that the standard that made it a great place to eat has not changed. The menu has changed slightly from what I remember with more "casual... read more

Went for dinner as a group of 7 on New Years Eve. It was busy but not packed. The waiter was inexperienced but attentive. The group ordered a variety of meals ranging from steaks ($35), veal pot pie ($23), chicken ($27), and salads ($15). Nothing was bad or poorly cooked, but nothing was dynamite either. Service was very slow at... More

My husband and I have eaten several times at La Baguette Bistro and always enjoyed the food and ambiance. When I found out that they have a private party room (The Wine Room) we selected it as the venue for a dinner party for our fiftieth wedding anniversary. We could not have made a better choice! From the start of... More

The first night we went to La Baguette we had a very capable waiter and the service was quite good. The lentil and potato soup hit the mark. The chocolate pot de creme and the bread pudding were both worth saving room for. The following night we went and found the service completely lacking. At one point we tried to... More

I think the bakery and buttery takes away too much from the restaurant. All the servers are incredibly rude and lazy and the guys that run the place don't remember me anymore. The food isn't spectacular, just OK now. They must have changed producers.

I ordered catering from La Baguette for a party I was hosting at my home. They are very close so it made the most sense to use them. I was very glad I did. I called and spoke with Kathleen and she helped me choose the menu. I went and picked everything up at the agreed time. Everything was plated... More

Like many locals, I had eaten various desserts from La Baguette many times over the years but never actually dined in the restaurant. After attending a party in their private room last year we finally made it there for dinner. The food was very good with many selections for wine and food to soothe your hunger and thirst. The staff... More

Our second trip to this place. The wait -- even with RSVP -- was long both times. We had a party of 8 and every ordered a different entree. Our favorites were the Bonjour Paris and Santa-Fe Style eggs. The potatoes served as a side are crazy yummy (probably parboiled reds that are quartered and finished off in the oven).... More

This is a great French Bistro - not dressy, but very tasty French cuisine. Classics on the menu that are always good, and the menu du jour is always creative and very tasty. It's also quiet and easy to have conversation but friendly. The bakery is to die for with all sorts of evil delectables to choose from. Adjacent is... More

La Baguette is an outstanding French Bistro. It is formal without being stuffy. The food is spectacular. I usually get the filet with bernaise. It is super. Desserts here are also particularly good. The bistro is attached to the bakery. My family often gets desserts to take out from their bakery for special occasions. Reservations are a good idea for... More
