I have eaten two times at Caffe Pranzo under it's new ownership. The atmosphere is pleasant, especially the Italian music that is played. The tables are well apart from one another however the chairs could use a cushion on them. Sitting through a dinner is somewhat uncomfortable because of the hard surfaces. Also, the window into the kitchen should be... More

I visited Caffe' Pranzo for the first time with 7 ladies to enjoy a birthday celebration. Our server greeted us with mumbling that he was the only server that evening and how many more guests would be with us. Very slow dining experience. The server was rude and did not provide service. We waited approximately 10 minutes to order drinks... More

I teach often in OKC and always looking for a small Italian Resturant with pasta cooked a la dente and with good sauces and a selection of dishes that is NOT a U.S. national chain. We were led to Caffe Pranzo and have eaten there twice, first time simple pasta with sautéed shrimp was simp,e but good. Second time I... More

This is a friendly neighborhood Italian restaurant with a nice variety of menu items. They also make the best creme brûlée in town!

We had Lasagna and Fettuccini Alfredo and both items were very good. Both portions were just right and a small loaf of bread came with the food that we shared and it was also fresh and tasty. I noticed that most negative reviews were about the dining in part of the restaurant itself so I can't say much about that... More

Wonderful food, cozy and romantic atmosphere, good service. I always get the Chicken Portabello Risotto. My favorite dessert is the Kahlua Torte which is pure Heaven! It is a great place for a romantic dinner with your mate. Call ahead to reserve the coziest table otherwise you may end up next to a large, noisy group. We learned that the hard... More

We went for dinner at 5 PM on a Saturday night. We were told that we would receive bread when it comes out of the oven, it never did. We asked for lemons for our drinks when we ordered, they were delivered without. When we asked about them, he replied I'll be right back with them. They must still be... More

I ordered the mussels for an appetizer the tasted like dirty. My Caesar salad was awful the dressing was watery and lacked flavor. The cheese on the salad was old and hard. The entree I ordered was a joke at best the veal was awful. The marinara had no real flavor and tasted like tomato paste. I really wanted dessert,... More

A little pricy for Italian food, but their recipes are very tasty, so we keep coming back. Well worth giving this place a try. Not a chain and the recipes are very tasty. Cozy enough for date night.

We planned on going out for a nice dinner with family. We had plans later, so we were to the restaurant shortly after 5:00. We had drinks and appetizers and waited a while for someone to take our dinner order. After a lengthy wait, our order was finally taken. They were out of several things on the menu, including salmon... More
