Chicken fried steak with jalapeño dressing and mashed red potatoes were excellent. Absolutely recommend reservations before going.

Cheever's Cafe is a staple in the Upper Midtown area of Oklahoma City. Located just a few blocks west of the Broadway Extension on N.W. 23rd Street, Cheever's is a big hit with the locals. The restaurant is actually a former flower shop and the center of the restaurant is a large glass wine room, visible from many parts of... More

Excellent service and the food was all great. Atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Portion sizes were crazy big, definitely plan on sharing. Be careful where you park, the restaurant across the street will have your car towed if you park in their lot.

Threw a surprise birthday brunch for my mom last weekend and all of the food was excellent. All fourteen of the guests raved about the dishes they ordered. I am so impressed that this restaurant is just as good when it opened, and truly one of the best places to dine in OKC. Our waiter, Peter, worked very hard to... More

Went here twice in there days, both times for lunch. Do make a reservation as the restaurant, a former flower shop, is small and there is limited seating. Happily, the menu is not huge and offers a good selection of very good items. Many people had raved over the chicken fried steak and it really is very tender, moist and... More

I found this restaurant while I was visiting Oklahoma City. What a find! If you are ever in this city, please visit Cheever's. Here is what I ate and let me tell you, that it was all delicious. The salad was different , but tasty. It was made with kale leaves covered with toasted pistachios, grapefruit wedges, caramelized onions, blue cheese,... More

Cheever's is a nice, cozy upscalish restaurant with a lot of variety on the menu. The CFS with jalapeño gravy is the best I've ever had!

Took my Mom here for lunch when she was visiting and they were very accommodating with the seating and moved us to a table where my Mom could get in and out better. We did not even ask. The food is so interesting and delicious not your average restaurant food and the people working there are so nice and very... More

We heard so much about the place we just had to check it out. The food was delicious, but our seating was a big issue. Out of all the open tables they had when my boyfriend and I walked in, they chose to sit us directly behind someone at the bar. Literally the guys butt was almost touching us. Shortly... More

We managed to snag a table (outside) on Father's Day morning with no reservations and were thrilled that we didn't have to miss this recommended restaurant before we left town. The food was unique and delicious (I had poached eggs over shrimp risotto) and the service was great!
