Good Experience

This is a small, cozy restaurant in Oklahoma City where we met up with friends that we have not seen in quite awhile. The atmosphere was good and the food was excellent. The menu was not what I would call large, but it had a nice selection of beef, chicken, seafood, and vegetarian dishes. They... read more

I have now tried this place twice, due to its high rating on Trip Advisor. The first time, we ordered the Juan's Queso Chihuahua ($12), which was a decent mexican layer dip appetizer. For my entrée, I had the Grilled Ribeye ($34). Unfortunately, it came out thoroughly overcooked and tough. I had to send it back and just shared some... More

Terrific food and service in the middle of OK City's newest "it" neighborhood. The jalapeno Chicken fried steak was excellent and is highly recommended! . Our server was delightful, knowledgeable and prompt. The only reason we are not giving it 5 stars is that the restaurant is a bit noisy as it is in an old florist shop with brick... More

If you didn't know of this place before, you need to go! Quaint and rustic, great atmosphere, friendly service. We shared the beef short rib dinner and was amazing! Flavorful and filling. Pictures is the split portioned out for us. Then a must have, the Roasted Pecan Ice Cream Ball! It does come in three sizes so we went for... More

My wife and I made reservations through the"open table" app, it worked great. We were seated upon arrival. The hostess was very friendly, our waitress was outstanding and very helpful with our food selections. My wife had the molasses roasted chicken, I had the pan seared Salmon. Both were cooked to perfection. And to top everything off, our waitress suggested... More

We have now had breakfast/brunch, lunch and dinner at Cheevers. They were all quite good but I prefer weekday lunch when possible to avoid overcrowded conditions. A smaller person might not mind so much. Lunch also seems like a better value in the $9-$15 area for most selections while dinner is maybe 50% or more extra. Anything you order is... More
