I have been dropping in to enjoy the good eats at Cheevers for many years now. This place was one of the first to peak my interest in twisted out unique offerings and it still delights today. If I could transplant a dozen restaurant from OKC to my home town this would be one of them. The OKC food scene... More

This is one of the few nice restaurants open early (10am) on Saturday and Sunday for brunch. Nice innovative menu, tends toward southwestern style. No eggs Benedict. I opted for the chicken salad and my companion got the pulled pork special. We shared a monstrous sweet roll which was delish. Reservations are a must.

This quaint restaurant is full of ambiance. The history behind the building just adds uniqueness. We went at lunchtime on a Saturday. It was busy but we got seated quickly. They do take reservations and I would recommend this as they filled up fast. My husband and I had the Juan's Queso chihuahua dip for an appetizer. This was sooo... More

They have the cleanest tasting chicken fried steak here, not greasy at all. Their jalapeño gravy is awesome!!!

What a lovely surprise! The service was extremely attentive and the food was VERY good. The appetizer of Chips/Green Onion 'Salsa' and Blue Cheese dressing served warm was one of the newest tastes I have come across! The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes was not your 'run of the mill' fried steak. Your taste buds will be REALLY happy... More

A solo dinner here at the bar was a good one. The menu is plenty interesting making a selection difficult. I took the recommendation of the bartender and selected the halibut entree. Nice choice as it was plenty tasty. I enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Worth a return visit.

Cheever's Cafe is a staple in the Upper Midtown area of Oklahoma City. Located just a few blocks west of the Broadway Extension on N.W. 23rd Street, Cheever's is a big hit with the locals. The restaurant is actually a former flower shop and the center of the restaurant is a large glass wine room, visible from many parts of... More

Excellent service and the food was all great. Atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Portion sizes were crazy big, definitely plan on sharing. Be careful where you park, the restaurant across the street will have your car towed if you park in their lot.
