This quaint restaurant is full of ambiance. The history behind the building just adds uniqueness. We went at lunchtime on a Saturday. It was busy but we got seated quickly. They do take reservations and I would recommend this as they filled up fast. My husband and I had the Juan's Queso chihuahua dip for an appetizer. This was sooo... More

They have the cleanest tasting chicken fried steak here, not greasy at all. Their jalapeño gravy is awesome!!!

What a lovely surprise! The service was extremely attentive and the food was VERY good. The appetizer of Chips/Green Onion 'Salsa' and Blue Cheese dressing served warm was one of the newest tastes I have come across! The chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes was not your 'run of the mill' fried steak. Your taste buds will be REALLY happy... More

A solo dinner here at the bar was a good one. The menu is plenty interesting making a selection difficult. I took the recommendation of the bartender and selected the halibut entree. Nice choice as it was plenty tasty. I enjoyed the atmosphere and service. Worth a return visit.

Chicken fried steak with jalapeño dressing and mashed red potatoes were excellent. Absolutely recommend reservations before going.

Cheever's Cafe is a staple in the Upper Midtown area of Oklahoma City. Located just a few blocks west of the Broadway Extension on N.W. 23rd Street, Cheever's is a big hit with the locals. The restaurant is actually a former flower shop and the center of the restaurant is a large glass wine room, visible from many parts of... More

Excellent service and the food was all great. Atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Portion sizes were crazy big, definitely plan on sharing. Be careful where you park, the restaurant across the street will have your car towed if you park in their lot.

Threw a surprise birthday brunch for my mom last weekend and all of the food was excellent. All fourteen of the guests raved about the dishes they ordered. I am so impressed that this restaurant is just as good when it opened, and truly one of the best places to dine in OKC. Our waiter, Peter, worked very hard to... More

Went here twice in there days, both times for lunch. Do make a reservation as the restaurant, a former flower shop, is small and there is limited seating. Happily, the menu is not huge and offers a good selection of very good items. Many people had raved over the chicken fried steak and it really is very tender, moist and... More

I found this restaurant while I was visiting Oklahoma City. What a find! If you are ever in this city, please visit Cheever's. Here is what I ate and let me tell you, that it was all delicious. The salad was different , but tasty. It was made with kale leaves covered with toasted pistachios, grapefruit wedges, caramelized onions, blue cheese,... More
