Great place for weekday LUNCH!

Ended up here because we were starving, and it was too hot to walk any further into Bricktown. Great decision! Lunch Buffet was wonderful & a great value. $10 for all you can eat quality Mexican food, can't get much better than that! Every item I had ranged from very good to delicious (which was... read more

First our waiter was just unbelievably attentive and friendly, Justin I think. Our kids wanted to tip him 100%! Second, the food was excellent for all 4 of us. Chips and salsa were a constant. You can mix and match menu items. Prices were reasonable and happy hour included reduced margarita's. Not very busy on the weeknight that we were... More

This restaurant is decorated beautifully and is very clean. They had a $10 lunch buffet which is what we tried. I was very impressed with the flavors and value. Their flavors had spice but was not overpowering. The waiter was very attentive and made sure our glasses were always full. I highly recommend this restaurant when you're in OKC!

Traveling with our dance studio for a competition at the convention center. Looked for something close and found Abuelo's just 2 blocks away. Arrived just before dinner service started, you would think that we would have had quick service. But, no! our drinks were constantly empty as were the chip baskets. Thankfully the water and tea pitchers were close by,... More

As always it seems every new dish I try here is great. Wife loves the stuffed avocados while I'm a fajitas guy. Oh and don't forget the green salsa and chips....don't eat too many or you'll be full but they are so lite and crunchy!

So I'm not a huge fan of buffets. However, I am a fan of Abuelo's! On a recent business trip to OKC we needed a place we could eat quickly and make a meeting. We googled places in Bricktown and found they had an Abuelo's. Parking isn't fun (typical of bricktown) but once parked we were more than happy to... More

Stopped by on a Saturday night, party of 5. We all had entrees, which were served as ordered. The food was not outstanding, it was just okay. We were served a basket of stale chips upon being seated, we asked the waiter to bring fresh chips, which he did. My issue with this restaurant was the horrible service. A cluster... More

The enchiladas were awesome ; the pork tenderloin with sweet chile glaze was sublime ; and the caramel cheesecake with sweet milk sauce was the perfect ending to an awesome dinner!! The service was great and we got seated pretty quickly even though it was Friday nite in Bricktown!

Abuelo's can handle groups of 8-10 without problem and most people can find something they like on the menu. It's slightly up-scaled standard Mexican food. The place looks clean and the service is fine. I found the food a bit over-salted.
