We had the lunch buffet. It was well stocked with a great assortment of items, and staffers made sure items were hot and available and the buffet area was clean.

We had the lunch buffet that is one of the only quick buffet type meals available if time is a concern. The food was OK but kind of generally greasy. The main restaurant area looks very nice and judging by the crowd eating off the menu it may be better there than in the buffet area.

I chose to go to Abuelo's for dinner on a business trip after reading many positive reviews, including several claiming it was the best Mexican food in OKC. I haven't been to other Mexican restaurants in OKC, but my experience of Abuelo's was of not-quite-good-enough-to-be-average Mexican fare. I ordered pork carnitas enchiladas that were lukewarm and dry. The rice and... More

Abuelo's is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Oklahoma City. We have eaten at one rated higher in Trip Advisor last year, but we left hungry and disappointed. There is no comparison. We go to Abuelo's every year we come back to visit family. They have the best cheese enchiladas and beans my wife has ever eaten. I had... More

The best Mexican food in Bricktown! Great prices, great food, and great service. The menu is HUGE and gives too many choices, but you won't be disappointed with the food.

Came here for a lunch break and a quick bite to eat but only to have terrible service in the afternoon and this is coming from a server, probably not coming back

In a cavernous old building in "Bricktown." We don't have Abuelo's in California, so were pleased to find this one on a road trip east. The "Papas Con Chile" side is a favorite of my wife's (she had two servings and part of mine). Margaritas and other food are excellent, too. Mandye, our server, was great - Friendly and upbeat,... Yes, it is a chain, but the food is good. If you have the choice between Abuelo's and Chellino's across the street, definitely choose Abuelo's. The atmosphere is a bit loud, but festive, as if you're dining in a tiled courtyard. Glad I came here. Twice.

Went to dinner with a coworker and we were seated as far in the back of the restaurant as we could be seated. My coworker is African American and she stated they did this because she is black. I though she was joking but then others with the same size party came in and were seated in the front. Kind... More

We visited for lunch and they have an $8.99 lunch buffet. Great options with salad and dessert. The restaurant is also pretty inside.
