I tried the sliced beef brisket plate with two sides. The BBQ brisket was rather bland, slightly overcooked, and dry. The BBQ sauce tasted similar to inexpensive store bought brands. The plate was overpriced considering both quality and quantity. Only someone who doesn't know good BBQ would frequent Leo's.

This is as good and authentic a dive as you will find anywhere. Just off Route 66 in an old gas station. My local hosts took me here and I wouldn't have even noticed it or gone in alone. The combo platter was fantastic -who can resist barbecued bologna? Even the little salad was delicious, made with cucumber and vinegar.... More

Leo's is definitely in a questionable part of town. We went there after seeing the high ratings. We're fussy about our barbecue and try places every state we go to. When you pull up it looks like it might've potential. We walked in and sat ourselves. Our waitress came over she wasn't mean but she wasn't friendly. She suggested the... More

1st off just let me say that I always try the ribs anytime I go to a BBQ joint for the first time. Im not saying that thier ribs are bad, its just not the style that I enjoy. Thier ribs had a hard glaze over them that you could not eat. Not alot of meat on them and the... More

Leo's is right off famous Route 66 in a small no frills building. The place is simple but the bbq here is delicious. We had a sampler of all the meats but the ribs were some the best I've eaten. We also had a close call because the famous strawberry banana cake had not arrived yet. Thankfully it arrived shortly... More

Ona recent visit to OKC we decided to eat somewhere new and saw the high ratings Leo's had so whe thought we would try it ourselves. WOW!!! Blew our expectations out of the water! The bologna & ribs are amazing. The BBQ sauces are so good and just add to the flavor of the delicious food. Oh and don't forget... More

Saw this on Triple D-Diners Drive-Ins and Dives- and suggested to my OK City family I wanted to visit-Brother was already a huge fan-goes there for his birthday every year in March and thought a second visit in Oct, was a great idea. The four of each ordered something different-all DELICIOUS, ribs probably the favorite. Family owned and friendly-old gas... More

Make it a point to visit Leo's BBQ. It is a family run authentic BBQ JOINT. The staff and family are inviting and ribs are ROCK.

We love to try new barbecue places (new to us, that is) when on the road, and Leo's sounded like just our type of place. It's in an old gas station on a corner, an informal setting. The people greet you as you walk in the door and were quite welcoming. In addition to the customary variety of barbecue selections,... More

Haven't been to Leo's since I lived in OKC in the 1990's. Had the Leo's Special today with ribs, hot links, brocket and bologna.Other than the brisket which I thought was unremarkable the rest of the meal was great. The meats were great with a great chew. The sides of beans and potato salad were very good and the cake... More
