We go here a few times a month. It is always reliable and good. Service, food, price--all are in order. Good solid management and supervision. I am happy that the outside signage is so poor that it keeps the lines down. Please don't come and crowd one of my favorite restaurants.

On a long trip, tired out, we asked the local manager of our hotel for a secret Thai Restaurant that would soothe our travel weary souls. She recommended the Sweet Basil Thai Cuisine restaurant in Norman, OK. Everything she told us was an understatement!!! The food was excellent and the staff was mostly college students, a bit eclectic, but great... More

Excellent service, very tasty food but at a bit of a high price! It was easy to locate and parking was available right out front. The menu was full of great Thai dishes. I personally had Tom Yum Guy soup and Green Curry. The wine selection was not very extensive and the only glass that I had tasted like it... More

We love Sweet Basil. We probably eat here once a month and have for several years. I have never once had anything I haven't liked. I have tried to recreate their Red Curry at home on a few occasions and I can't. The Pra ram is wonderful, as is the pad Thai and the evil jungle curry. The ambiance is... More

We were intrigued by our son and daughter-in-laws raves about the great food at Sweet Basil in Norman Oklahoma. Recently we dined there for lunch. The food is good but just average as far as Thai food goes. It's always a bit disappointing to us when a dish touts "vegetables" yet comes with so much rice and so few (and... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the romantic ambience and tasty food. They even have delicious sticky rice with mango! They are a little pricy and their servings are small in comparison, but a great gem nonetheless!

I love to visit Sweet Basil anytime I'm in Norman. The atmosphere is great, servers are friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. You can select the heat level of your food, so those who love it very hot will not be disappointed. If you're like me though, you like it a little more mild. The fried tofu is... More

We are always on the lookout for good Thai food and tried this place. It's a little bit pricier than some of the other options we've tried in Norman, but the environment is nice and the food is good. The pineapple fried rice is outstanding!

The best in Norman. I went out on a quest to find the best Thai food in Norman. This is it. Very good. Only thing I wish is they gave bigger portions.
