My husband and I traveled to Norman recently. While staying there for a few days, we ate dinner at several local restaurants. It's rather hard to find healthy, non-fast food in Norman, but Taste of India definitely has both. It's at 1000 Alameda Square, Ste 140B (on Alameda Ave.). Between Taste of India and Misal, I prefer the former and visit weekly due to mad cravings. Though Misal is more popular, to my mind Taste of India clearly has the best Indian cuisine in Norman. Tucked away in a strip mall, Taste of India is a pleasant, modestly decorated family operation. The food is always fresh and deliciously seasoned, and the service is helpful and prompt. more
