We had my daughter's birthday lunch there with a party of 8. The food was fabulous. My sister-in-law said it was her new favorite restaurant. I had the Green Chile Corn Cowder with the most fabulous corn bread nuggets. Wow!

This restaurant has some great things going for it; a child care Center, locally grown ingredients, appetizing menu selections, and agreeable prices. However, these positives did not outweigh the serious lack of flavor in the food. The appetizers and entrees just fell short when it came to satisfying our palettes. I want to give them another try but am hesitant.

The food is fresh and changes seasonally. Most Oklahoman restaurants are not so reasonably resourced. They also have an excellent Sunday brunch with different pancakes each week.

Went there on a family outing with my wife, daughter, son-in-law, and and grandson for dinner. The location is a little shopping center with a store front that makes the restaurant seem impossibly large once you enter. The restaurant is nice inside, a little sparse. The ceilings high, it feels almost cavernous inside. There is a play area for children,... More

We went here for the first time the other day and we loved it! For the appetizer we had the baked feta dip and the blue corn chicken enchiladas for dinner and it was all absolutely delicious! We even got the chocolate bread pudding and it was amazing! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to... More

Our first visit to Local was last minute for Easter Sunday brunch. Even though I called Saturday evening for reservations (party of six, no less) the hostess was extremely accommodating and got us in at 1:00pm the following day. From the fresh fruit and cheese that started the brunch to the carafe of Mimosas made with fresh squeezed OJ and... More

I loved this place and enjoyed visiting it. At my last visit had their chowder soup and a few other dishes. Soup was the only best tasting stuff. Rest was hard to eat. Stale bread served ( not as a free stuff but paid) We finished our soup with joy but my god- had horrible stomach pain/ nausea and I... More

Pepper chutney with Brie on buttered sour dough by itself would make an excellent grilled cheese (Ruthies Rolling Food Truck in Dallas should add this to their menu - hint, hint Taylor), but when you add local bacon, wow. Add the green chili chowder and it was a great mid day meal. Bloody Mary was A+ also.

I just tried this place for the first time at lunch. They have an interesting variety of items and reasonable prices. I had the onion soup special, truffle chips, and grilled veggie sandwich. My friend had the meatloaf with potatoes. We both had coffee to drink. Everything tasted very fresh and homemade and the coffee was excellent. Our server was... More

I reserved a group for my birthday, we had good service, the food was different and savory, everyone liked the large lazy Susan to share food, and that most of the food was from local sources. The unique feature is the child care service. If you purchase a kids meal, that have a large children's play area with on-site sitters.... More
