Little piece of Heaven in Norman!

My husband and I love bbq. We've been judges on Go Texan BBq competitions and this place is worthy of an award!!!! We loved the pulled pork, so tasty. Even without dousing it in sauce it had a wonderful flavor. The service was great, very hometown feeling. The servers actually asked if... read more

Taking a tip from Travel Advisor, we stopped for BBQ. I had the best ribs I've ever eaten. Very meaty and fall off the bone tender. The BBQ sauce was very good and is gluten free if you care about that. My husband had the chopped brisket and pulled pork dinner. He's already talking about going back and taking friends... More

We wanted to eat at a local barbeque restaurant on our visit to Oklahoma, and this was a great one. Sort of a fast food atmosphere where you place your order and then go sit down to wait for it to be served to you. We had delicious ribs, that fell right off the bone and pulled pork that was... Every time I go to OKC I come here, and only here. It's my first meal, my last meal. I love the chopped brisket sandwich. But the ribs are awesome also, well everything is awesome here. You can't go wrong! The staff is always friendly, and we love that there is a picture of myself and my sisters on the... More

I've been here a few times and even though there isn't anything very memorable that jumps out to me on any of the occasion, I remember each time being a good experience that keeps me coming back. Their strength lies in their meats really. I've had their Chopped Brisket, Smoked Half-Chicken and Hot Links. All were pretty tasty and served... More

Outside of home BBQ, Ray's BBQ has some of the best BBQ in Norman. Lunch combos are a great value; portions are generous. Can get VERY crowded at lunch time, especially after church with a large church across the street, but worth the wait.

Have noticed this former pizza hut turned BBQ place for several years but never stopped. We were visiting my daughter in Norman and wanted to grab some ribs and pulled pork to go. Wow! This is really good BBQ. The fries and green bean sides were good too. I don't know if it is the best in Norman or OKC... More

Was really good BBQ. my daughter said the sausage was really good and I had a chopped sandwich, also really good. Be sure to try a piece of their homemade cakes, wonderful.

Visiting in Norman....made it a point to eat at Ray's based on reviews that said it was the best in Norman. Well, maybe being from Texas, we are used to the barbecue bar being set a little higher than it is in Oklahoma, but it was a disappointment. The ribs were tender but not especially tasty; the chopped and sliced... More

Ray's is the best bar-b-que in Norman in my opinion. It is located on Lindsey St and easy to get to when going or coming from the university provided traffic is not bumper to bumper going both ways. If it is, well the food is worth the extra time it will take to get there and when you're finished you... More
