BBQ is a matter of taste. To me, Ray;s has some of the best ribs in the area. They are always tender, lean and flavorful. Brisket is also good. Smoke house beans are one of my favorite sides, and the fries are better than most. This is a family owned restaurant, not real fancy; not too expensive; just a clean,... More

We stopped on a business trip because of its high ratings. Food is disappointing. Turkey tasted like it came from a processed loaf. Sausage tasted processed as well rather than fresh from a local barbecue. Price was reasonable and sides were okay.

While visiting Norman, we stopped in for lunch. They offer a lunch menu even on Saturday. You order at the counter and they then bring your order to your table. We decided to split a 2-meat dinner of pork ribs (that fell off the bone), sliced brisket, macaroni & cheese and baked beans with a piece of toasted bread. Everything... More

This place was recommended by locals. I had the combo with hot links, pork, and brisket. Sides were beans and fried okra. The meats were very good as well as the beans and okra. My wife had the pork sandwich with fries and she enjoyed this as well. The place was very clean and service was ok. Not the best... More

Reviews were spot on. Some of best barbecue I have ever eaten. Fast, friendly, and lively atmosphere. I had chopped brisket sandwich and cole slaw for lunch.

Love this place! Bbq is always lean, fresh, and tender. Sides are good and sauce is excellent? Lots of food for the price!

Ray's offers good BBQ--tender and with flavor, but portions are small and the sauce offerings are limited. It appears to be located in an old converted Pizza Hut.

The BBQ is always wonderful. The wait staff are very friendly and customer service orientated. I thoroughly enjoy it every time we eat here. The only exception is that I don't care too much for the beans. But that is personal preference, as some of our guests love them.
