Decent Home Cooking with a Nice Shop but Sub Par Service

This was our first visit to the Amish Country Store and for the most part, we were not disappointed. The food was undoubtedly home made, albeit not entirely hot when it arrived to our table. There was an issue with the fries, in that they came oily and soggy (not crispy and delicious like one of... read more

Great food. Must try the pies. And for a real treat take home some fresh made fudge. My favorite is the roast beef with potatoes and gravy and home made rolls.

My staff and I eat here often for lunch. Their menu is always good and they have daily specials. I love just a plate of all their vegetables. If you could possibly still be hungry, they have delicious fried pies for desert.

Not all Amish stores & restaurants are the same. This one is pretty good. Enjoyed their home made, --so tender you could cut it with a fork - pot roast dinner with REAL mashed potatoes (I asked before ordering) smothered in brown gravy and some delicious slow roasted flavorful green beans on the side. Home made biscuit served with it... More

The staff did not appear to be Amish. The turkey sandwich appeared to be something from a supermarket deli section. Prices were high on both menu items and all store items. The Amish restaurant and store about 30 miles, in Chouteau OK, is a better choice.

I cannot believe what I've been missing. Folks, do not leave Muskogee without stopping by the Amish Country Store North US 69 in Muskogee. Stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner on my way thru town on my way to TX. The markee said they had Chicken and dumplings. I assumed it was a dinner. Turned out it was only soup. Very little chicken and small dumplings Flavor was just rather blah. Got 2 sides, green beans average and collard greens. Never... More

Amish in name only. If you have ever dine in a real amish home, then you will be very unhappy for stopping here. Same grey mystery meat and greenbeans as any other fast food "family diner" but with a premium price and Amish name. A good thing that the Amish Mafia are not in Muskogee or it would be gone....
