Party of Eight

We ate at the Old Plantation on Sunday, June 28th. Our party of 8 included us (the grandparents), three parents, and three grandkids aged 6-11. We read Tripadvisor reviews that portions were huge so we tried to keep that in mind. Ordered fried mushrooms and pickle chips for starters. Both were very... read more

My wife and I used to come here 35 years ago. Steaks were excellent but the place was so nasty we finally swore that we’d never go back. 35 years later we did return. Didn’t get a steak electing to get the Chicken Fried Steak instead. Meal was very good and one of the best baked potatoes I’ve had in... More

Love this restaurant. They are open every day and are busy every day. The new owners embraced the restaurant's historic past as reflected by the photos on the wall and the story in the menu. They even serve dinner rolls using Grandma Leath's recipe. The food is good and I've never been disappointed. Probably the best things on the menu... More

The food here is greasy and to me bland. I ordered the catfish and it was nothing special. It is a pretty cool building that is full of history.

We arrived for a late lunch and had to wait about 20 minutes for a table so we waited in the bar area which was comfortable but nothing special. This is an old building that still has the original wood floors, etc. In the dining area, they were out of a couple of things we initially ordered. I ended up... More

We had to wait a while to be seated but we were a party of 11 so that is to be expected on a Saturday evening. The rolls are great and the food was great. I had a chicken rice with sweet potato fries. I wish I knew how to make the fries they were so good. The waiter was... More

A quaint family restaurant in a very scenic Medicine Park. The restaurant is more family style so great for families with kids. A romantic walk along the creek makes this a great stop for couples as well.

This was the first time visiting the restaurant since 2000. We used to eat at the Old Plantation frequently while stationed at Ft Sill. The renovations to the building and the menu are wonderful! We had the starter of loaded fries-that along with the cold tea should have been our lunch, but we had to try more. An order of... More

We went there on Mother's Day. They were pretty busy so we did wait a few extra minutes but it was worth the wait. One of the orders was mixed up and the steak wasn't done correctly. The waitress took the steak and brought it back cooked correctly. The waitress made sure our glasses were full and checked on us... More
