I got myself a spring medley side salad with the apple something panini. don't remember what it was called. Both... More

Great food in a quaint, friendly atmosphere. Chicken salad the best ever. Dessert selections wonderful. We were in 20 minutes before closing but never felt rushed and staff very attentive.

We just left the Whistle Stop and we loved the food, atmosphere and folks that served us. We dined as a family with our 4 kids and they even commented how good the food was! We ordered the turkey Reuben, hot trio and double BLTs. Food was served quick and it was fresh. Tea was sweet, the way we drink... More

Love the Bistro. It is located in Old Town McAlester and a great place for lunch with family or friends. I always try one of their homemade soups, yummy!

We found this restaurant on Trip Advisor while on a road trip. The slight detour through the older part of town was interesting. The restaurant was in a neat old building. The employees were welcoming and friendly. The food was great. There is a good selection of sandwiches and wraps, freshly prepared to order. If you are looking for a... More

The Bistro has a great atmosphere and is located in a very cool old antique shop. The employees are wonderful and are all very nice and attentive. I had the french dive sandwich and a salad, it was the best french dip that I've had in McAlester. It is a great experience, you should go if you are in or... More

This place is closed on Monday. I like this yummy place for lunch - wraps, salads, sandwiches, friendly service and a good value.

I had turkey Reubens and it was very good. They close at 300...we arrived at 2:00. We were seated and not rushed. We enjoyed the Historic District atmosphere. Worth getting off freeway for. We are traveling back to Texas.....we will go again next time we are up this way.
