Quaint little country place with a bar decorated to be country and perhaps slightly rough around the edges. We sat in a booth (broken down padded benches) and ordered soft drinks. They are served in large mason jars. Before the waitress returned to take our order I heard another waitress taking an order at a nearby table. She told the... More

You might be in beef country, but you aren't in GOOD steak country here. For $32 with a coke to drink, one would expect to get a damn good steak and sides. The salad was small and very average. The Ribeye, the biggest baddest 1+" cut, wasn't a 1" ribeye. It certainly wasn't a $32 steak. No seasoning. No salt,... More

Brangus Feed Lot, is a combination bar/restaurant. We arrived shortly before the dinner rush, so getting a booth was easy. Peanuts were in a trough by the door as you enter, so scoop them out, crack the shells and toss on the floor. Our waitress that night was a bit unsure of herself, and the menu offerings. We settled on the... More

We came here because we were staying nearby and they served wine and beer, not an easy thing to find in the area. It wasn't a great meal. We had a server who was working her first night so naturally she had some problems. Totally messed up on what wine they had but eventually that was straightened out. She also... More

Visited Brangus around 3 pm on a Saturday. Other than the few individuals drinking on the patio, we were one of two groups in the restaurant. We missed the trough of peanuts as we walked in which are self service so if you want the peanut experience, be sure to scoop a cup as you enter. The decor is eclectic... More

On our way home from Dallas to St. Louis, we decided to stop at the Feed Lot. We ordered the rib plate not realizing that we were also getting a chicken breast and a piece of sirloin! The meals we ordered also came with an appetizer, salad and a dessert! Needless to say it was a lot of GREAT food.... More

We went at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon and were the only people there. Love the free peanuts and throwing them on the floor. Husband had the hamburger steak and could not finish it it was so big. I had 3 huge fried catfish pieces they were very good. They don't have baked potatoes till 4:30 so I got mashed... More

I eat at least 600 meals out a year all across the lower 48 states. Brangus stands out ! Family owned & operated. I stopped for lunch and had a steak w/ chili & fresh vegggies. The chili was among the best chili I have ever had ! It had pieces of steak and was seasoned just right ! I... More

We stopped for lunch on our way through today. Feed lot decor & they do throw peanut shells on the floor. The food was delicious & generous portions! There was only one waitress, Allison, & she had all 7 tables and did a great job! My husband had the 8 oz steak. It was really tender with a good flavor.... More

On our way to Eureka Springs last week, we stopped in McAlester, OK for the evening and when we asked where was the best place to eat, we were directed to Brangus Feed Lot next door to the hotel. It was wonderful then so now on our way back to Dallas, we've stopped at the same hotel and, of course,... More
