While the waitress was sweet as sugar... The food inedible. Menus filthy. Table Dirty. They never bused any of the tables around us. Trust me its tough to screw up a tortilla beans and rice... But they have taken it to a new level. Do yourself a favor and SKIP IT.

We stopped here on the way back to Dallas. We weren't terribly excited based on the reviews, but it was decent. The place has an old feel and needs updating. The chips were ok but the salsa was from a jar. I got fajitas and the high point was fresh made tortillas, but overall the meal lacked flavor. The chicken... More

I am new to McAlester and have been trying to find a good Mexican place to eat. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and my date ordered the fajitas. The food was good, not great. The service was barely passable. The one thing that made the experience worth it was the outdoor patio seating.

No other Mexican food joints in the McAlester area can beat Patron's. It is right off the interstate and can't be missed. They provide the best bang for your buck with prompt nice service and tasty food. The table made guacamole has to be my ultimate favorite. Your server will cut up huge fresh avocados and mash it together with... More

They brought chips and salsa it was ok at best very tomato saucy and chips were overcooked or reheated to long. When they began bringing the food out it was... More

Went to patrons after reading the reviews and to say the least not overly impressed. The main course was average but the rice was good. The salsa needs some improvement and chips were somewhat hard. But, with that said the prices were very fair and the service excellent. Not a bad place to grab some cheap fast Mexican if you... More

This star is for the queso we ordered with the chips. The queso was delicious. The service was terrible. The tamales couldn't be cut with a fork. The sampler plate came swimming in aforementioned queso. I am assuming they know that the queso is absolutely the only thing they have going for them, so they cover everything with it. I... More

I love this restaurant. It's right off the highway at a great location. The food is very authentic and tastes amazing! The guacamole is made at the table, I haven't had better anywhere else! The prices were good. so are the margaritas!!!
