Beef brisket lean and on the well done side not easily found in Virginia so whenever my wife/I visit her family, we always go at least once. Texas BBQ better but for proximity, this is our next choice. Always prepared to our taste and reasonably priced.

We missed the exit for jakes rib coming from ok city . I had heard of this place so we tried it. Friendly enough but the food was not good . Meat was dry , cold, tasteless, potatoe salad was ? Sweet ? Baked beans were mustard tasting . I asked for a tea to go . Waitress never brought... More

While visiting our family in Fort Sill, we saw the John and Cooks trailer in a gas station parking lot and decided to take a chance. I was pleasantly surprised! The ribs were fall off the bone tender, and the Brisket was super tender, and both were delicious. The sauces were a wonderfull addition to the meat as well. The... More

Some of the best brisket ever, and very nice people. We only tried the brisket sandwich, but it was very tasty. Location hidden off road, park sideways in the lot.

Delicious! I got the smoked chicken and it was tender, extremely flavorful and just plain good. They have a sweet, hot BBQ Sauce that is awesome. The baked beans were good, but need to be enhanced to meet the quality of the meat's flavor. My thought on the potato salad is it is too creamy and too sweet. I am... More

Basic no frills but great barbecue. Among us we tried the pulled pork, brisket and ribs. Sides were a bit disappointing - particularly the cole slaw. But meat was cooked to perfection. Was recommended to us by someone at Ft Sill who said it was the best barbecue in Lawton - we didn't try the others but this was indeed... More

I read the great reviews and thought this would be a no brainer. It's difficult to review this restaurant because the staff are extremely friendly and accomadating, it was very clean, but, the food was not good. The meat tasted old and was low quality, the sides lacked flavor and was just really expecting more.

I was meeting a date at Jimmys BBQ and arrived early and decided to check out Cook's (to take home). When I arrived and stepped out of my truck, I was greeted by the smell of hickory smoke. I ordered a pound of chopped pork and a pound of beef brisket (which is rare in NC). I was on the... More

This restaurant is like other amazing BBQ spots around the country, not fancy but it gets he job done. We cook our fair share of BBQ and we also go throughout the country in search of the best BBQ. Imagine my surprise to find the best brisket we have ever tried in our home state. Unfortunately we live 3 hrs... More
