I travel every week to some big cities and then also to some smaller towns. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a BBQ paradise. I had the full rack where the meat just fell off the bone. I never use sauce because it covers the actual BBQ flavor. It was WAY, WAY too much for me to eat so... More

Really good food, the waitress (Jordan) was friendly and attentive, and at a great price, no reason to complain here. I had the Engine #9 Smokestack sandwich and it was simply fantastic. I'm not from around and this was an unplanned visit on my way to OKC, but if I find myself on that same route, I will definitely stop... More

I'm not here to tell you where to eat. I'm here for telling you about my own experience. By far...bar none...the worst place I have ever eaten. The service was ok, but the food was so bad. Potatoes tasted like winded cleaner. The so called "Best BBQ" was under cooked. Sweet tea was not sweet. My wife's okra was not... More

Oven roasted ribs were touch and fatty. Sided were sloppy and poorly plated. Brisket is dry as dust. Sauces pushed clearly to hide flaws. Waitress did not know spare ribs from babybacks.

We've stopped at Johnny's for several years because of both the easy access from I-35, and it's good BBQ. When you can feed 6 grandkids and get no complaints, it means something. The meat is smoky as it should be and quite flavorful. The portions are generous, service is quick and prices are reasonable. It's a keeper.

The food, fun, and service were outstanding. The staff was very professional and hospitable and made us feel like family. We got a lot of great food at an economical price. Sincerely, Keith Brown.

greasy, meats are fatty. I like the ribs to fall off the bone. We drive out of town and go to Steve's Rib if we want barbecue.

I've ate at Johnny's for the 6 yrs that I have lived in Oklahoma. It has had the same owner who is always there and very friendly. You can order a beer and have some good BBQ. I always have the Johnny Louisiana. It chopped BBQ brisket with cheese and slaw on garlic toast. Order the onion rings they are... More

Below average greasy BBQ served with marginal tasty side orders. The stone faced service is typical of a high school dropout that cannot get a better job. Self service would be better. Lucky they are located on the highway exit or they might go broke IMO, go anywhere else.
