We had guests from Florida and told them we had been to 501 and that it was a good restaurant. Was apparently is the operative word. The front staff was totally disorganized, couldn't keep track of requested seating arrangements. Waited over 50 minutes to be seated, in spite of watching several groups who arrived after us be seated. No communication... more

This is one of my favorite Edmond eateries! Everything from the staff, atmosphere, food, and service have always been great! Their Crispy Parmesan Chicken is awesome! They have an irresistable selection of desserts also, so be sure to save room. Parking is sometimes difficult especially on weekend nights, but it is so worth it! more

Since I live in Edmond this is one of my frequent stops! I love the tilapia sandwich or any of the daily specials! I too have never had the deserts since I never have room for them after the wonderful meal! Get there early to get a table! Enjoy! more

I agree that Cafe' 501 is a wonderful place for breakfast and lunch, but something must be said for their dinner menu. The evening entrees are unique and beautifully executed ~ my favorite is their meatloaf, closely followed by the talipia with citrus sauce served with grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. I live in Edmond, and this is one of our jewels. If you can get there for breakfast, the stuffed waffles are delicious, and the price for breakfast with a mocha was the same as what I would pay at IHOP, but it tastes way better and has an incredible atmosphere. Cafe 501 offers a complete cafe experience, an experience I have only found in very few places in the country. The location makes you feel you have found a secret, the atmosphere is lively but not imposing, the service is friendly and the food is fabulous! This place is as good as it gets for lunch, and the locals know it, so get there early if you don't want to wait in line and jockey for a table.
