No trip to the Edmond or Oklahoma City is complete without a trip to Johnnie's Charcoal Broiler. The hamburgers and rings are great. The iced tea is great especially during the heat of the summer. The service is always great. Note that if you or somebody is gluten free, Johnnie's will use make a hamburger with your bun and not... More

The local Amateur Radio Club I belong to uses the back room for a Saturday each month. Johnnie's has always been accommodating. The food is always excellent and so is their customer service. The food is prepared promptly. I would highly recommend Johnnie's.

First ate a Johnnie's when it was a walkup on Britton Road. Every trip to OKC requires a Johnnie's "fix." They are consistently good.

Have loved Johnnie's burgers since the beginning at their Britton Road location in Oklahoma City. This is the location we frequent most often. The burgers are always delicious, the fries & onions rings are good and plentiful, the staff is friendly, and orders are filled quickly. Their iced tea is the best!

When you get to Johnnie's, you order at the counter and then pick up your order when ready. The drinks are self serve so refills are free. Their burgers are great and my niece got her usual, a Theta Burger. It has a sauce like thousand island dressing on it. We split fries and had plenty. We got some onion... More

There old fashion burger takes the cake, pass on the Johnny sauce which tastes like spagatti sauce on a burger. Rings are monsters and crispy. There are multiple restaurants all over OKC, all of them pretty much the same. They do things a little backwards, having to order then pay when you pick up. Its a decent burger but just... More

This place is great for a burger chain. The only other competitor to its burgers is Rons Hamburgers. I've been to much better standalone places, but for a chain this is very good. ALWAYS ORDER THE ONION RINGS. ALWAYS.

After starting college in 1965 in Edmond, OK, my roommate and I discovered the Spit-T on North Western in Oklahoma City and ate there often. The burgers were great. We always ordered the chili cheese burgers. After college my roommate settled in Edmond and sometime in the early 80's he took me to Johnnie's in Edmond. It turns out that... More

I heard the food was wonderful here so went for a visit and it was disgusting. The burger was gross that I didn't eat it. Not to mention that the prices were very exhorbitant. A burger, order of fries and child's chicken strips was $15. Not worth it.
