We stopped in for a late night margarita and snack at Salita's after we visited the rather overwhelming Choctaw Casino. The quiet patio and pleasant evening at Salita's was just what we needed after the casino craziness! Our drinks were delicious and the hand-made guacamole was very fresh and tasty. But the best part of the evening was visiting with... More

Back in the day it wad good. But upon going back after 20 years it sucked. The food was cold the cheese was not even melted in the enchiladas! The quesadillas for kids were nuked in the microwave. I make better mexican food at home!

A good variety of food. I did not care for the beef enchiladas but the chicken ones were excellent. The prices were reasonable.

This used to be my favorite Mexican place to eat when we visited Durant, but their portion sizes seemed to have become smaller and the prices have increased. My husband and I used to share a large order of nachos as a meal, but this time our nachos had very few toppings and seemed to be the size of a... More

I haven't eaten here in over a year. The food is not good and we have at least 3 other Mexican restaurants in Durant that are better. Just not a good place to eat. Service and food are very weak.

This place calls itself texmex but fails to deliver on the tex and completely forgets the mex. Food was bland. That's not an overstatement. A tortilla with some cheese and dry chicken hunks does not a quesadilla make. The chips and salsa were the only bearable part of the meal. Server was slow and as bland as the meal dispite... More

The food is not good, No Flavor! No seasoning. We ordered Fajitas... It was very dry. The burritos just comes with ground meat that seems like it was just boiled and there you go. I would not recommend this Rest. It has nothing to do with Mexican Food, the people working there were very young teenagers, that don't care to... More

We like Salita's but don't visit it very often. The food is always good, but we hate all the beer signs and bottles. It just doesn't seem very family friendly anymore. Also, the other mexican restaurants in Durant have chips and salsa AND cheese dip while you wait on your order.

The food here is just average at least of what I have had. I usually order the crunchy taco plate. But the last times I have ordered my tacos have been soggy. Not good! As when I tried to pick them up to eat they just feel apart. I usually sit in the bar but it is very smoky in... More
