Positives: Very good food, reasonably priced, pleasant decor Negatives: Out of the way location, rushed service in a nearly empty restaurant Traveling home and running behind schedule, we made an impromptu stop for dinner in Clinton. As a result, we stumbled onto a delightful surprise: Picante Grill. For travelers on I-40, this restaurant is a bit out of the way.... More

Have eaten here twice, once on 2011 and now once in 2014. Being from AZ, can say food is delicious and yet has its own fresh flavor.

I was going to the place next door to this place but it was closed. I stopped in and was greeted right away by the hostess. Nice and clean with a nice staff. The food was great. The shredded meat was tender, tortillas nice and soft, and the hot sauce was just right. I recommend this place and it is... More

A small but friendly restaurant. Quite a large selection of food on the menu. Our waitess was very entertaining which made the night for sure. The food was all very tasty and filling and very reasonably priced. All in all a good experience. The building was a little tired however clean. There were several Mexican families eating there which was a... More

Salsa very blah. Cheese sauce cold. Beans very runny. Food was hot, but just ok? Will not go there again next time in Clinton.

Small restaurant with a bar. Menu is pretty large for a Mexican restaurant. Food was good, plenty of it and hot. Salsa is very weak, cheese sauce is on the excessively salty side. Entire menu very affordable.

My friends like this place, I was less than impressed. My diner was pretty bland. The atmosphere was average, the prices okay. I don't think I'd go back.

While on a trip to Clinton we had dinner at this location. There isn't a huge selection of places to eat but most of the time you can't go wrong with Mexican. Hard to find...make sure you have a GPS. Not a large place but it was decent. Staff not friendly. Basically takes our order and then is off somewhere... More

Ate lunch there today. Chips were very good, salsa was very good, queso just okay. Chips delivered in a plastic basket with a coffee filter liner. Neon lights on the walls. Had the chili relleno. It was not spicy, but the entire plate of food was hot, like the cheese was still boiling a minute later. I like my hot... More
