Good Barbecue

We stopped by Oklahoma Joe's to try out the Barbecue. We both enjoyed our lunch of pulled pork and rib dinner. Good portions. Friendly staff. Spicy cole slaw was a different take on the traditional slaw. We would return if we're in the neighborhood.

My husband and I recently visited Oklahoma Joe's BBQ and I was pleasantly surprised. In general, I'm not a huge fan of BBQ restaurants, with the exception of Burnco. Now, I'll have two BBQ restaurants to choose from! We ordered the Grand Champion Platter which included brisket, pulled pork, bologna, sausage, hot link, ribs, turkey, beans, spicy slaw, potato salad... More

After seeing Oklahoma Joe's BBQ on the Travel Oklahoma TV program, my wife and I decided to drive the 100+ plus miles to give the place a try. Our meal was well worth the drive. Michelle ordered the burnt end sandwich and I had the pulled pork sandwich. We split an order of onion rings. It is not very often... More

I stumbled upon Oklahoma Joe's as I was driving through the area en route to a business appointment. It was the back end of the noon hour rush and the line to the order counter was probably 15 deep...a good sign that people are stacked up wanting to eat their food! The line moved relatively quickly, the dining areas had... More

Had the combo sandwich with chicken and turkey. Bbq was ok at best decent amount. Great fries but the bbq sauce was outstanding. The hot is not excessively warm but a great kick and the original has great flavor. So come for the sauce, they have to go kits.

I stopped at Oklahoma Joe's BBQ to pick up lunch and there was a pretty long line, but it went very quickly. The food was fresh and the quality was better than I expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I look forward to going back.

Its a simple set up. Order at the counter and take it to your table. The cooking style is western bbq, so the ribs will juicy but not fall off the bone like Memphis ribs. The chicken can be a little dry on occasion. The flavor is good, but not remarkable as others have mentioned. They appear to have fixed... More

We had heard that Joe's was a top flight restaurant. I had the ribs and single meat plate with sausage. The sausage was excellent and the ribs were great. Good bite but very tender and flavorful. My wife had brisket and thought it was a little dry. Very place and would go again.

I have been there several times and the staff is great and the food is good, however, the Kansas City restaurant I like better.
