Good BBQ for locals

Had a pretty good hot link sandwich and some coleslaw. Beer was priced marginally. Atmosphere was ok, not much to do with that building considering it has been two previous eateries before OKJ. Anyway, I have had better bbq elsewhere, but in a pinch would not hesitate to go back.

We were visiting in central Tulsa and had heard raves about this BBQ place--it is a mystery why. Unless you live nearby this suburban outpost with a chain restaurant feel, it is not worth the drive out. The best thing was the very pleasant staff. Otherwise it is pretty standard to bland. Got some meat slabs on a cold grocery... More

Since moving to Oklahoma 21 years ago I've had the opportunity to try a lot of barbecue, but my absolute favorite and the one I always come back to is Oklahoma's Joes. I have never been disappointed in any of the meals we have gotten here. The line can get long - especially after church on Sunday - so make... More

Friday night outing with another couple provided above average taste, abundant portions, and fast, friendly service. We had Ribs & One Meat (pulled pork) which came with 3 pork ribs, good-sized portion of pulled pork, 2 sides, and bread. My wife added a side salad and we split the dinner which was more than enough for the two of us.... More

I am certain that I WILL upset a number of people, but this place just plain SUCKS. LONG wait in line to order, had to return to counter THREE times to get our orders corrected, before giving up and just taking what we were given. Smelled like a real barbeque place which really bouyed up our hopes, but the first... More

If you like pulled poke, then this is the place for you. Oklahoma Joe's is famous for their pulled pork, and you will see why. I have eaten at many bbq restaurants before, but none like OK Joe's. I am not a huge fan of their sides, but the pulled pork more than makes up for that!

Very nice. When we arrived there were 2 hosts to direct us where to go since this was our first visit. We placed our order with a very pleasant young lady. We ordered the ribs & 1 meat dinner which in our case was the brisket. Both were very good. The restaurant was very clean and there was someone going... More

The family met at OK Joe's for a BBQ dinner. Huge helpings of delicious meat an sides. The ribs were out of this world as was the pulled pork and brisket. Visited with folks from all over who had been there before. Tells you a lot!

We eat regularly at Oklahoma Joes in Broken Arrow, over by Bass Pro Shop. I always get the ribs. They're very delicious in taste, lots of meat and tender. I also love Joes baked beans, they're just awesome. I recommend my friends to go to Joes where no tipping is allowed and the price is comparable to the large amount... More

Came here while my wife is in surgery at the nearby hospital. Had the "Okie Joe." Delicious. I look forward to bringing the wife back with her new knee and trying some of their other fare. If you like BBQ and plain (not superficially fancy) dining, you'll like this place.
