Consistently Good Food

I have ordered the Tavern Meatloaf at Main Street Tavern several times and found it to be excellent every time. Served over garlic mashed potatoes with a mushroom demi-glace and corn medley, it is a hearty plate. My daughter enjoyed her eggs benedict, which she ordered from the brunch menu, which... read more

I enjoy being able to go in and sample beers before committing to an actual full purchase. Staff is nice, price a little higher on some standard foods, but can be worth it.

Went the Main Street Tavern over the weekend. This is the second time I have ever been there. The food was good. Service a little slow for the money we spent and for being he middle of the day. The booths are in dire need of repair. The seats are ripped. Being a Tavern it has that feel but with... More

The first few times we went to Main Street (several years ago when they first opened) it was great. The Fish & Chips were the best around. Period. But that can't be said anymore. The quality and value have gone down significantly every time since. Prices are going up and portion sizes/quality are going down. The atmosphere is cool and... More

I went to the bar to get a drink. Bartender was friendly and offered decent suggestions for a beer when i said I wanted something Hoppy. Both beers received were excellent. I preferred the Coop F5. While drinking I decided to order a meal and had the fish and chips. The fish was delicious. The chips reminded me of potato... More

We were a party of 6 in town for a wedding and stopped here to catch up with each other and also to watch a Thursday night football game. We had drinks and appetizers, service was a bit slow and they were not that busy. Also, when we asked a few questions about the size of certain appetizers, (for sharing... More

The 16 oz Ribeye was today's special. Maddie took very good care of us. The Tavern Chips are always outstanding! We love it here!

I used to be a big fan of this restaurant when it first opened but no more. Within the last month I have been there twice and ordered the chicken quesadilla. Very little chicken and sitting in a pool of yellow grease. I believe it's from the low grade cheese they might be using. Both times I ordered it it... More
