Excellent service, fun bar area. You have to like fried food, good old southern cooking. Not to say there aren't healthy options, but this is a splurge event!

In 2011 I went several times to Duke's and had some VG meals. As I planned my 2012 trip to this area, I checked out reviews, and it seems that Duke's changed ownership. That was a red flag. I checked out some other review venues and saw negative reviews. Another Red Flag. I stay at the Hampton Inn very close... More

Honestly I'm surprised this place is still in business. It simply has to be due to the fact that a hotel is located nearby and unsuspecting out-of-towners are their only guests at this point. The food is horrible, service is even worse, and the management is obviously being done by rookies. The basic concept is good, but execution of everything... More

Had a social event at Dukes and a buffet was set for us. Best thing was the shrimp and grits! Cheesy grits mixed with corn and topped with a delightfully sweet BBQ shrimp sauce mixed with hominy, red and green peppers. However, everything was good. Ribs fell off bone, fried catfish was lightly battered and not greasy as was the... More

Formerly a very good Cajun restaurant. But the new owners should consider a new profession that better utilizes their unique skills (fry cook at McDonalds comes to mind). On our recent lunch visit we were unable to buy a beer because "there's no one over 21 here to serve it to you." The once-excellent Shrimp PoBoy was undercooked. It's a... More

Excellent meal! I had the blackened redfish which was delicious! It came with okra succotash, which I questioned, but that was just yummy and also the sweet potato mash was quite good. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our visit. We will return to Duke's - must try their fried chicken.

Iron skillet fried chicken...just like mama used to make, fried catfish...that makes you think of a Mississippi bayou, shrimp and grits...that you figure Scarlet O'Hara, herself, would have enjoyed and live music to make the evening complete. The food was delicious and our server, Colin, couldn't have been more attentive. I do wish the restaurant would include a small dinner... More

So people in Oklahoma probably don't eat a lot of shrimp and grits, I know that when I lived in Tulsa that wasn't on the top of my "to do" list. After a recent visit to Charleston, that all changed for me. I've seen the light and the shrimp and grits at Duke's was fantastic. Really good flavor, a little... More

We went a few weeks ago for dinner with my 3 kids. We sat down quickly but didn't get a waiter for about 10 minutes. The guy that helped us even said he wasn't our waiter but would serve us. 3 of us ordered their fried chicken and mashed potatoes, very crispy and good. My youngest got a grilled ham... More
