Excuse us, but aren't all hamburgers "hot"? While they might be, there's no comparison to what one thinks of as the traditional burger and the crowd favorite at Murphy's. Start... More

This is a casual café and they are famous for their hot hamburgers which are comprised of bread, a hamburger patty, French fries and are covered in gravy. It wasn't to my liking, but is a long-standing fixture of Bartlesville.

Murphy's is a vanishing breed. There's no organic, raw, or overpriced fare here...just good hot food cooked up and served fast in a sit-down restaurant. Try the SMALL hot-hamburger with "gravy over all." It's not small, but it is hot and there is a hamburger involved, and yes, the gravy over all is what makes it memorable. Murphy's is not... More

For travelers on US-75, you couldn't go further out of your way in Bartlesville to eat, but i do it whenever we drive through. Old diner-slash-truckstop aura with large meals for the money. Their motto is "Gravy Over All", but you don't have to go that route. Step back in time and try this local eatery.

For Bartlesville natives who either still live here or return, Murphys is home. When my family comes to visit they always have to eat at Murphys for the Hot Hamburger. Once you do get seated, the first question asked of you is "do you need a menu?" Most people don't. The most popular item is the Hot Hamburger. That is... More

Hey, you only live once, so what's 1 hot hamburger gonna do? kill me? Eventually yes but not today anyway.. It's similar to a poutine in presentation with gravy but no lumps of cheese dumped over fries.. and then theres bread and hamburger under it all. So I guess it's not like a poutine after all. It was OK it... More

Hot cheeseburger, real potato fries with brown gravy over all. Eat it with a fork and follow with home made pie. Your heart doctor wont recommend it but sometimes it really hits the spot.

Gone down hil over past few years and service continues to get worse than the last visits. Food is still good but it's served cold or orders are delivered incorrectly.

Local fare! We were so excited to try this spot. If a place is around 60 years, they have to be doing something right. Well, Murphy's was doing it right, and in a big way! It is your standard diner feel inside. It's an older building, but that lends to the charm. We sat at the bar up front and... More

I've had their burgers, steak, egg and bacon breakfast, and the fries with gravy. All was good. Murphy's has been around forever and worth a trip when your in town.
