when you first pull up to this place you may start to second guess yourself about going in....go in! This is a nice find very close off I-70. Small place but the inside is very nice with well stocked bar. Cute patio out back overlooking the river. The food is NOT bar food. the food is a nice mix of... More

Quaint little bar/restaurant with history. We sat on the back patio facing the River and is was great. The food was very good. Only downfall is they allow smoking on the patio. Great place to relax and eat outdoors.

This is by far the best Seafood Restaurant in Zanesville, Ohio!! This restaurant was recommended by the hotel receptionist in Zanesville. The terrace of the restaurant has a surpurb view of the river and the city on the other side. Everything was home-made and the food was outstanding. The service was tops and very professional. They also have a great... More

Stopped in for a bite while driving through Zanesville. It's just a little off I-70. We had delicious sandwiches and really enjoyed the view from the patio of the river. Our waitress was very accommodating and pleasant. Worth a try if you're in Zanesville!

I have eaten here many times during my lunch hour with customers and coworkers. Many of them out of town people have requested to eat here again if we were having lunch. It is a great atmosphere, especially if it is nice out and you can set on the back patio overlooking the river. They have a great menu with... More

The restaurant has character, atmosphere, and very good food. The menu is eclectic with a couple of daily specials. The theme of Muddy's pays tribute to author and Zanesville native Zane Grey.

A friend and I met in Zanesville recently for a few days as it was halfway between our current homes. We weren't sure what Zanesville had to offer, but it was convenient. Not only did we have fun exploring some local history and checking out some great antique spots, but we had a tasty lunch at Muddy Misers. We ordered... More

The riverside patio may be one of the best in Ohio. You cannot hear the Muskingham flowing by but you sure can see it and it's a beauty. Ever had a Walleye Reuben? It's pretty darn good. And the three cheese Mac 'n Cheese is seriously yummy! The place ain't fancy but it's worth the trip, just about wherever you... More

This place could be so much better. This is a follow up review. Small limited menu but they do run specials daily. Some interesting sounding items on the menu but even the excellent menu descriptions don't make up for bland and boring offerings (the walleye reuben sounds good but has not taste at all). Very pricey for the area and... More

We enjoyed our dinner at this place. It was just a little crowded on the deck, but still was enjoyable. The service was great and the food was pretty good. I had heard about the walleye and tried it. For my taste, I thought it was bland, but still good. The crab cakes were good and the steaks were good.
