Best Reuben!

Old style deli serving up the best Reubin I have ever had. I have eaten at a lot of mom and pop style and chain restaurant reubins and this is easily the best one! Big surprise for a little place.

I was born and raised in Ytown and apparently never had been here before. Visited recently and family member suggested we grab some lunch here. Had heard many, many good things. I must say I was disappointed. I ordered a bagel with cheese and pastrami. For $6 I feel it was a sham. Bagel was decent sized but sandwich contained... More

Our corned beef sandwich was everything we expected and more. Fresh, piled high with meat and served on great seeded rye. Absolutely delicious! I eyed a bakery treat in the case called "kipfel" and was offered one to sample. I was told it was a Hungarian pastry similar to a Jewish rugelach. A perfect sweet ending to our sandwich lunch!... I waited 20 minutes for a sandwich that I found out had been sitting on the counter getting cold for 15 minutes. One person was really getting stuff done up front, she looked miserable as she had to constantly yell at others to pickup food, help at the register etc. There was plenty of staff that weren't pulling their weight... Although actually located in Liberty Township, very close to Youngstown. The deli is at the end of a plaza. Once inside the doors, it was like going back in time. Lulu & I sat at the counter and both had Rueben sandwiches. She had the "Southside" & I the classic. Both were excellent and freshly made. While sitting at the... More

Every once in awhile you find a place that still has that feel of a real Deli. This is that place and it's hidden in Youngstown. The menu has many good choices but I chose their signature sandwich. This monster was one of the best Reuben sandwiches I've had in many years. Bring an appetite. Everything I saw being served... More

Visited this quaint deli in Liberty township near Youngstown and experienced what a true deli should be. The food was superb and the baked goods were as they say, "to die for". What a wonderful experience. Ate on old tables with not so modern chairs and could have cared less as the sandwich was resonating in my mouth. In a... More

We saw this deli on trip advisor and decided we should check it out and we wish we lived nearby to go here all the time! Really superb in every way. You can get takeout or table service and the staff are very accommodating and top notch. Clean and absolutely freshest and highest quality food. Reasonable for the quantity and... More

While traveling on business, our group frequented this place several times a week. One of our group could not eat gluten, so they made a version of their awesome Ruben on a bed of fried potatoes for her, and then named it after her. Wonderful people, casual atmosphere, and they get you in and out during lunch.
