I have been coming to Young's Dairy since the 1960's and I have seen it grow into the place that it is today. They do a huge amount of business and it is usually busy. When we were there it was extremely busy but that is not an unusual thing. The first thing that bothered me was the smell inside... More

The ice cream is delicious and where else can you climb on tractors and pet goats on a Saturday night?! The ice cream is homemade and so creamy. There are a ton of flavors and it isn't terribly overpriced. If you can get past the farm smell, it is nice to walk around the grounds while you eat your ice... More

My family and I have gone here a couple of times now. Their ice cream is good, but the actual meals aren't that great. The food comes out pretty quick, but it tastes like it's been sitting out awhile. The atmosphere and staff were great. This past time we went, we beat the crowd so it wasn't bad of a... More

The Youngster dairy experience is very enjoyable for both kids and adults. Don't go hungry, unless all you want is ice cream. The restaurant had some of the worse, greasy, overlooked food I've ever had. My 2 yr old wouldn't even eat it!

My wife and I visit Young's Dairy at least once a year for past 8 years, the main reason being a vintage antique truck show held there in early August and secondly we look forward to enjoying the good food and ice cream to end up a perfect day.. We live in Virginia, its a 5 hour drive to the... More

We went here for lunch. The burgers are not that great. The ice cream is OK, but very, very expensive!! Two bucks for a small dish of vanilla. The ice cream is not very creamy and it sometimes has a weird texture. The flavored ice creams are better than the plain vanilla.

As a parent of a child with severe nut allergies it was quite a "treat" to be greeted with an ice cream establishment where all workers had a plan in place involving getting a new, unopened tub of nut free ice cream, used a sterilized bowl and scoop! AND, the ice cream was great!

Great place to spend a few hours with the family, have some fun, and enjoy homemade ice cream. Complete with batting cage and petting zoo, it's right off a bike trail that use to be a railroad line. Short drive from Dayton.

Ice cream was just okay. Petting zoo was a bunch of goats, one sleepy pig, two young cows and a couple of ducks. All the kiddie activities are really geared towards little kids - 7 and under would be best. I ordered a chocolate covered waffle cone bowl and since they have run out - they dipped one and gave... Okay, the restaurant is average--and there are actually two of them on the property. You do NOT go to Young's for the food, though; you go for the experience and the ice cream. I have been going here since the 1970's when the ice cream was literally sold directly out of the barn! It has grown into a complex with... More
