We went here for lunch. The burgers are not that great. The ice cream is OK, but very, very expensive!! Two bucks for a small dish of vanilla. The ice cream is not very creamy and it sometimes has a weird texture. The flavored ice creams are better than the plain vanilla.

As a parent of a child with severe nut allergies it was quite a "treat" to be greeted with an ice cream establishment where all workers had a plan in place involving getting a new, unopened tub of nut free ice cream, used a sterilized bowl and scoop! AND, the ice cream was great!

Great place to spend a few hours with the family, have some fun, and enjoy homemade ice cream. Complete with batting cage and petting zoo, it's right off a bike trail that use to be a railroad line. Short drive from Dayton.

Ice cream was just okay. Petting zoo was a bunch of goats, one sleepy pig, two young cows and a couple of ducks. All the kiddie activities are really geared towards little kids - 7 and under would be best. I ordered a chocolate covered waffle cone bowl and since they have run out - they dipped one and gave... Okay, the restaurant is average--and there are actually two of them on the property. You do NOT go to Young's for the food, though; you go for the experience and the ice cream. I have been going here since the 1970's when the ice cream was literally sold directly out of the barn! It has grown into a complex with... More

Wish I had some Young's ice cream RIGHT NOW! All flavors are to die for and their hot fudge...well let's just say it's heavenly! Always crowded but lines seem to move fairly quickly. Service is good and delivered with a smile.

We've been here twice and it really draws a crowd. We were able to sit outside with our dogs and eat. The lines for food and ice cream can be long so bring your patience.

100 people in line out the door & we were through in <20min w/ 20 teenager scoopers. The young man said of course I could have banana ice cream in a hot fudge sundae! That + burlap bag slide = awesomeness

I took my two Grandchildren to Young’s Dairy in June 2014. They rode the "train", rode on the giant slide, played mini golf, played on the tractors and of course checked out the animals. The kids had a wonderful time plus so did I. We have visited Young’s Dairy many times and have enjoyed their excellent ice cream. My wife... More

Stopped at Young's Jersey Dairy on a recent visit to Dayton. Couldn't believe how many cars were in the parking lot. We just came for the ice cream and were not disappointed! Lots of flavors, homemade waffle cones. Delicious!!! And big portions. I had trouble finishing a single scoop. (Just wouldn't want to see what my arteries looked like afterwards.)
