Description: The Worthington Inn is nestled in the heart of historic Old Worthington...
The Worthington Inn is nestled in the heart of historic Old Worthington and home to a great happy hour, bar, patio and five elegant private dining rooms. Our Executive Chef, Tom Smith, believes strongly in farm-to-table sourcing and our award-wining menu features local produce, meats, eggs, honey, liquor and craft brews. Consistently rated a "Top Ten" restaurant by The Columbus Dispatch and crave magazine, we are open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday and for our popular Sunday Brunch. During the summer months, we open up early on Saturdays and offer our Farmers Market Breakfast alongside the Farmers Market in downtown Worthington. Happy Hour is available weeknights from 3 to 6pm in our bar and on our patio and we feature live music every Wednesday & Friday evening. Looking for a unique place for your special event? One of our private dining rooms are the perfect venue for your wedding rehearsal dinner, shower, wedding, corporate gathering or holiday party!

Very good on service and ambience

I'm rating this very good only because of service and ambience, not the food. We were in the third floor function room for a large business dinner. The atmosphere and decor is delightful, with a stunning chandelier in the centre of the ceiling. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and the... read more

They just came out with a new lunch menu - as usual, lots of farm to table, etc. Myself and another member of the party had the vegetable plate, clearly not the season for the best selection, fairly pedestrian. Usually we have a very good meal there.

Trakette, we wanted to thank you for your review and compliments of our staff. As you mentioned in your review, your hosts did select the menu items. They intentionally chose a basic meal to accommodate food allergies and all guests needs. We sincerely do encourage you to come back and try our regular and pub menu. We hope to see... More

I took my family here for brunch to celebrate my wife's birthday on Sunday, March 15. We have two small boys (3 and 5) and opted to sit in the pub area away from the main dining room in case they decided to act up. The food, service and friendliness of the staff were all spectacular. We will definitely return... More

Try them out for happy hour on the porch in warm months; good service and high quality food. A little dressy for inside dining.

The Worthington Inn is one of the original and the only remaining inn in Worthington on the north side of Columbus. It retains the architecture and ambiance of the turn of the (last) century. The rooms have been converted into condominiums but the restaurant remains offering excellent food and great service. Chef Tom Smith focuses on local, contemporary fare from... More

Lunch in this old Victorian hotel and restaurant was wonderful. Great food, service (waitress only) and charming character inside of an old Victorian home. CONS: A little pricey, and rude receptionist/bartender gave me the stern once-over because I was dressed in jeans. Had the nerve to lie to me that the dining room was full and suggested that I eat... This restaurant offers the perfect atmosphere for those who enjoy Traditional decor in Historic settings; professional waitstaff and quiet surroundings. Classical music plays softly in the background. Be prepared to climb up some stairs to get to the dining rooms, though. They used to offer a wonderful Sunday Brunch buffet, which we greatly miss. However, they still put on a... More

Had lunch on Friday (party of 5). Not crowded. Good service. Very pleasant atmosphere in an older building with lots of character. Parking available behind the building. My wife and I enjoyed the crab cakes.

I have eaten here many times for lunch and dinner as I live in Worthington and it is very easy to get to. There is plenty of parking. The restaurant is housed in a 200 year old inn and period decorated. I have never had a bad meal here. The Executive Chef Thomas Smith knows what he is doing and... More
