Description: The Worthington Inn is nestled in the heart of historic Old Worthington...
The Worthington Inn is nestled in the heart of historic Old Worthington and home to a great happy hour, bar, patio and five elegant private dining rooms. Our Executive Chef, Tom Smith, believes strongly in farm-to-table sourcing and our award-wining menu features local produce, meats, eggs, honey, liquor and craft brews. Consistently rated a "Top Ten" restaurant by The Columbus Dispatch and crave magazine, we are open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday and for our popular Sunday Brunch. During the summer months, we open up early on Saturdays and offer our Farmers Market Breakfast alongside the Farmers Market in downtown Worthington. Happy Hour is available weeknights from 3 to 6pm in our bar and on our patio and we feature live music every Wednesday & Friday evening. Looking for a unique place for your special event? One of our private dining rooms are the perfect venue for your wedding rehearsal dinner, shower, wedding, corporate gathering or holiday party!

Very good, rustic yet slightly elegant place

This was a nice place for a Sunday Brunch. I wouldn't rate it excellent because I didn't feel there was anything amazing on the menu to choose from. The coffee was just so-so. We enjoyed our service and meal but we'll probably eat at another local spot next time we come to this area. I do feel... read more

We couldn't find a place to have a late dinner on a busy evening in downtown Worthington. We lucked upon an opening on the porch @ The Worthington Inn. Our hostess found us the perfect spot...across from all the activity in town..just perfect so we thought. Unfortunately for us we had a waiter that ruined the perfect setting. The meal... More

Formal service, better quality food, well trained wait staff but do need a good hour or two for a dinner here. Lovely traditional setting and well-appointed rooms.

Many local residents consider their top choice for fine dining surrounded by a colonial decor. One of a kind not part of a chain. Menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Several rooms for dining, including an informal bar area. For a quiet business or social meal, try lunch on a week day. Parking on street or in back.

We tried the Worthington Inn because it is in our home town. The food was delicious and staff was excellent. Grab a table on the patio or front porch during the Saturday Farmers Market for great people-watching. We even had our 2 dogs with us.

We went there the last Saturday in June, 2015. The food was good, but it took about an hour from sitting down to receipt of food. I am not an impatient person, but it seemed long time. We seemed to have multiple people working our time. About 45 minute point someone came by and said that the food was coming... More

Business dinner with a colleague from Sweden. Atmosphere for a business meeting was good, service was excellent and the food was served quickly and was top notch quality and taste. Will have to visit more often.

They just came out with a new lunch menu - as usual, lots of farm to table, etc. Myself and another member of the party had the vegetable plate, clearly not the season for the best selection, fairly pedestrian. Usually we have a very good meal there.

I'm rating this very good only because of service and ambience, not the food. We were in the third floor function room for a large business dinner. The atmosphere and decor is delightful, with a stunning chandelier in the centre of the ceiling. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and the hors d'oeuvres were delicious (the artichoke dip in... More

Trakette, we wanted to thank you for your review and compliments of our staff. As you mentioned in your review, your hosts did select the menu items. They intentionally chose a basic meal to accommodate food allergies and all guests needs. We sincerely do encourage you to come back and try our regular and pub menu. We hope to see... More

I took my family here for brunch to celebrate my wife's birthday on Sunday, March 15. We have two small boys (3 and 5) and opted to sit in the pub area away from the main dining room in case they decided to act up. The food, service and friendliness of the staff were all spectacular. We will definitely return... More
