Well, me and my friend wanted to stop in because we live in town but have never been there so we had high expectations. It was a Saturday night and we walked in and the hostess was on the phone and didn't even greet us, she just stared and just told us to sit down. So we found a booth... More

Can't believe this place remains in business, it's clear the owners are not watching the house or don't care. The place is run-down and not very clean. The staff was not motivated or happy to be there, this was painful to watch. Cut to the chase……Greek Restaurant, expect to have a decent Gyro's. What we got was (should have taken... More

Matsos is located in downtown Wooster, Ohio. You will enjoy great Greek and Italian food at very reasonable prices. Many of the entrées come with a choice of Greek or tossed salad. I like the Greek salad with the house dressing. The lasagna is delicious. There is a nice friendly atmosphere in this small, family-owned restaurant.

Matso's is a dump. A fun, entertaining, well-run dump. They happen to have good, cheap sorta-Greek food. Make that: Greek Pub Food. The joynt is a monument to the Ohio Light Opera (the owner performs in many of their productions every year). If you don't mind rickety and funky, you'll love this place

Stopped in on a friends suggestion and so glad we did! The pizza with kalamata olives was divine and the salad with homemade Greek dressing superb! My husband loved his gyro. The place is kitschy and well loved. We will be back!

I stopped in to Matsos for lunch on a weekday. The place was not especially crowded. I was greeted quickly, and shown a booth right away. I went to the bathroom prior to sitting with no hassles. The menu here is lengthy and diverse-- sandwiches, dinners, pasta and pizza. I wanted to try a few things, but opted for the... More

Was astounded to see that as street fair was going on, my young daughter needed to go to the bathroom. We went inside and politey asked to make any exception to the rule they could. We were told we would have to make a purchase to go to the bathroom. Terrible.

Dropped my son off at the College of Wooster for summer camp, and needed a quick bite to eat before beginning the drive home. My daughter and I stopped here for an early dinner - walked in about 4:30 and the place was empty (understandably). We stood around for a few minutes in the empty room not knowing what to... More

My family ordered Matsos for dinner tonight. We were informed that it would be 35-40 minutes for pick-up. My husband arrived at the 40 minute time frame and ended up waiting for another 50 minutes!!!!! Matsos excuse was that they had new employees. They did not even offer my husband a discount on our order. I will NOT be back... More

Old diner with lots of photos from the theater in Wooster -- pictures from 1930's to 1970's. Food is awesome, ample portions. The feta cheese dishes are amazing due to the freshness and generous amounts of cheese. I had the Lemon/egg soup also.. Best that I have ever had. Service is quirky, along with the owner. Food is worth it!
