Was there in the summer/fall of 2014. The "restaurant" and I use that word lightly, was disgustingly filthy. I waited over a half of an hour for my food. The waitresses kept apologizing for. It wasn't their fault that the owner was taking so long to get our food ready. I kept hearing him yell and then he would throw... More

Good Amercian Greek food. We visit here a few times a year. They have great grinder sandwiches. I love their house dressings and have bought some for home. Good salads and pastas also. We however are not too impressed with the pizzas, will get those elsewhere. Service is not the greatest, they are very slow....very slow. Hard to get a... More

We really like the food at Matsos. The pizza, bread, salads and sandwiches are as good as you can find anywhere. The place is quaint and the owner is a wonderful person. The only problem is the servers are very poor. Drinks go empty with no stop by to refill. Long gaps between getting drink orders, food, etc. if the... More

Dining at Matsos is a step back in time in a cozy restaurant filled with photos from years of Ohio Light Opera performances. Try the spaghetti pizza for a delicious and filling treat. Spiro might even serenade you!

We really love Matsos Pizza. They heap lots of toppings on and have a large variety to choose from. Our only negative comment is that sometimes the dough in the middle of the pizza seems a little under baked. We always order more than we can eat so we can take some home. It's really great re-heated in the oven... More

Dirty. Bad service. Bad food. Suffocatingly vinyl atmosphere. Everyone from the cashier to the wait staff seemed to be a manic depressive. Run, don't walk away from here.

I've been to Matsos twice, but I've only eaten there once. Explanation to follow: The first time I visited, I kind of enjoyed it. I had a Greek salad and the meat-stuffed grape leaves entree. With the salad, there were no surprises, but the grape leaves were different from what I had previously experienced. They were grape leaves and they... More

Since I like Greek food, quit looking at the menu once I found moussaka. Antipasto plate good. Great service. Even had assistance with Greek pronunciations. Ate here a few years ago with my Greek husband who liked the food. His usual response is that he can make it better at home. Will definitely return.

Went there on a Saturday night thought why not give it at try. First off took forever to get someone to get us a table. I overlooked that once seated the waitress was slow to even come over to the table. When she did it was like we were inconveniencing her being there???. We ordered a pizza and it was... More

Well, me and my friend wanted to stop in because we live in town but have never been there so we had high expectations. It was a Saturday night and we walked in and the hostess was on the phone and didn't even greet us, she just stared and just told us to sit down. So we found a booth... More
