Visited here for the first time - we were a family group of 7 and we all enjoyed our lunches. The menu was varied enough for all our tastes. I had fish and chips which was ok and I particularly liked the mushroom appetiser - 2 appetisers fed all 7 of us and didn't leave a lot of room for... More

This is a pretty good restaurant. They have a buffet and salad bar that is fairly good. LOTS of room so if you are looking for a place for a lot of people to go together this would be the place. I particularly like the steak salad if I am not getting the salad bar.

We had several meals that were fabulous at the Jakes by Walmart in Wooster. We tried the Jakes of route 30. What a change for the worse. My burger was small, greasy, and lousy. The onion rings were greasy. Salad bar very average. When our son went to College of Wooster we'd always dine at Jake's.The quality and portions are... More

Went for breakfast brunch on a Sunday. Served till 11, got there at 1030. They didnt keep it fresh and ran out of items. Service was great. Lesson is, don't go late to Jakes.

We've eaten at this and other Jake's. Our recent visit well be our last. The food was horrible and the servers had too many tables to handle efficiently. My fries came out cold and the burger was just gross. No one asked us how or food was and we left feeling like we needed to go somewhere else to eat.

Had a dinner date with my husband at Jake's tonight, was not impressed at all. For our appetizer we got The Dog Paw which was not cut, let's just say it was very hard to eat. My sirloin steak was average, I asked for medium and it was more so medium well done. My mushrooms I do believe were canned... More

Eight of us ate here recently. Since they did not have a table available to handle our group comfortably, we dined at two separate tables. That wasn't a major problem, but it was a little awkward. The food was fair. I had a ribeye that was decent, but it was a thin cut. Baked potato was good, and the mac... More

Stopped here for dinner on a recent evening and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the fish sandwich...which I swear was 12" long, Haddock I believe. In fact I just finished it for lunch :) Onion rings were good too. Another family member had smothered chicken which was also very good. Service was good also, but prices are a little high for... On Saturday 5/24/14 we had the good fortune to eat at JAKE'S after my granddaughters graduation . They had “Prime Rib” as one of their specials. We got 3 orders of them and 1 each of their Rack of Ribs and a Rib eye. All of them were done perfect and in a reasonable time. We fed 3 adults and... More

We came with a large group. The wait staff was pleasant and professional. Orders came quickly and all were correct. I had steak and a baked sweet potato, both of which were excellent. My daughters ordered pasta and fish fry, which they both enjoyed thoroughly. We would definitely go back.
