Enjoyable Brunch

My companion and I went there to dine with a friend visiting from Florida. I ordered the Grilled Strip Steak from the Brunch Menu; while my two companions ordered Pecan Encrusted Cobb Salad from the Pub Menu (Also available as an alternate to the Brunch menu.) While visiting Wooster this past weekend for the Ohio Light Opera we had breakfast at The Wooster Inn. While the brunch food was actually very good and well presented, the service was in a word (out of tune, since we were attending light opera) Abrupt does not correctly define our service from the hostess. Simply rude would be more direct.... More

This was our first time eating on the patio. We had the $10 CAB sirloin, baked potato and soup or salad dinner. 2 of the 4 of us had grizzley steaks but we all agreed that the flavor was great. I mean, really, for a $10 steak dinner, you cannot expect perfection. Hubby had the mushroom/brie soup and did not... More

If you like a good burger and unbelievable homemade chips, visit the Pub at the Wooster Inn! The food upstairs in the Inn is great, but the Pub is outstanding!!!

The main dining room has an intimate setting with an updated and varied menu. The wait staff is friendly. Sunday brunch is a terrific value for excellent food.

The hidden gem in this quaint college town is just a block from the campus! With specials every night, you might need to try every night of the week! From their $10 strip steak special to their delish jumbo wings (house smoked, if you like), there is simply no other place in town to get this great food and excellent... More

We have eaten at the Wooster Inn over the years and cannot help but notice how the quality of the food has declined to below average. The Easter Buffet was the last straw. The three bites of lamb that I was rationed were overcooked. The chicken was dry and tasteless. The vegetables seemed to be water cooked, if the is... More

We took our family to Wooster Inn during the Christmas season. One son and daughter-in-law are vegetarians and one son and his girlfriend are very much carnivores. Both loved their meals (as did my husband and I)! There are several vegetarian offerings that are delicious! The non-vegetarian portion of the menu is equally varied and delicious. The soup special that... More

The first-floor dining room serves up some excellent food. Downstairs, the pub has an amazing wine cellar and decent food (just avoid the steaks), if you can take the noise -- our server found it amusing that we could not hear him and he could not hear us once someone fed the juke box.

We have been going to the Wooster in for special occasions for years. Yesterday we celebrated a special occasion at the inn and we were disappointed with the changes. First off, the dining room used to be an elegant place. Now it has a bar with televisions, bar staff wearing a t-shirt and dirty laminate floors all around. The Wooster... More
