Big City Feel in Downtown Wooster

Broken Rocks is our favorite restaurant! Has a big city metro restaurant feel with the service and friendliness you would expect in a small town restaurant. The menu has some items you would find in only a few restaurants. Ever find a Caprahina on the drink menu? (make sure you spill a drop to the... read more

We go to Broken Rocks for special occasions which usually includes kids. It's not very kid-friendly in menu or design so I think we will limit future visits to adults only. The food is full of flavor and visually appealing, fresh ingredients. The bread is wonderful! The kitchen is open and seems to run like clockwork. The negatives are the... More

Great food and service. The food is fresh and we like the fact the kitchen is open to the eating area so you can see how clean it is. I tour many restaurants and some you don't want to see.

As a Wooster resident, I always choose Broken Rocks if I am looking for an affordable lunch for friends visiting from out of town. They have a few top-notch dishes that are safe bets if nothing else really sounds "right" for the meal. Service is spotty, sometimes it is very quick and polite, other times it feels like you sit... I'm a local & eat here often . Have never had a bad meal here , service is always good , they have a very interesting menu & the deserts are all good Too. While they don't open real early if your after a late breakfast it is good as well , Omelets & very good cinnamon rolls.

Try to go to Broken Rocks whenever we can. Great bread, great ambience, and great food. My favorite dish is shrimp and scallops in a very tangy and excellent Tabasco cream sauce. Don't miss the chocolatey pudding desert. Plenty of great chocolate flavor and a great finish to a great meal. You will find many locals frequenting this restaurant and... More

So many delicious sounding items on the menu made it tough to decide, but I settled on the smoked salmon and goat cheese pizza and was not disappointed. Our party of 4 all loved our selections. We'll be back soon and often!
