The service was wonderful. The buffet is great but if you don't want to eat that much they offer a one plate only at a much lower rate. This was perfect if you aren't that hungry. The pies are wonderful!

Went to the Amish Door for lunch and one of their theater presentations. The play was far better than the food. Had eaten there many years ago and the quality of the food has declined to become mediocre. The table was not set properly with no butter, no cream for the coffee and unfortunately the service match the level of... More

Expected fresh, tasty country cooking. Maybe the hot and cold food bars were ok, but not the items ordered from the menu. The roast beef (advertised as one of the Amish Door specialties) was dry and served with no au jus or gravy. The broccoli tasted like warmed up frozen variety. The only thing fresh was the baked sweet potato.... More

This place is fantastic. It's in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive. :) The broasted chicken is fantastic, the dinner buffet has a lot of options, and the sides are also great. The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. The best tip I can give is to arrive late. From what I've heard there... More

Touring the area with our parents. They have stayed at the Amish Door Inn in the past so they requested we stop here for lunch. Delicious food. They have a hot and cold buffet with numerous choices. We ordered from the menu: chicken meal, turkey meal, soup and chicken sandwich, salad bar, Rueben. Warm bread service with meal is a... More

Traveling around Amish country we heard about this restaurant. It was a Thursday and not crowded. The hostess was pleasant and nice. The waitress was funny and very good. She rattled off the specials and answered our questions regarding some of the food. We both took home a doggie bag. Plenty of food was served. We walked around the bakery... More

For an Amish area restaurant my wife and I were very disappointed. The buffet was chintzy and the dinner menu was simply offering standard "american" fare. Neither of us were impressed with the quality of the meal and we won't be returning.

We ate here the night we checked in and were not disappointed. My husband ate broasted chicken from the menu and I had the extensive hot and cold buffet, which included dessert. Both very good. There was always cars in the parking lot at the restaurant.

We ate here for lunch after 2:00. We ate from the buffet that was filled with good home-cooked foods. The kids loved it more than the adults. My 13-year-old son says it was the best macaroni and cheese he has ever had! He will no longer eat it from the box, so I have started looking up "Amish Mac-n-Cheese" recipes!... More

My friend and I ate their breakfast buffet early one Saturday. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was surprised taking a bite of what I thought was scrambled eggs and finding myself eating a delightfully delicious savory breakfast bread pudding with ham and cheese. I loved that as well as the deep fried mush. Everything was seasoned beautifully. The bacon was... More
