We have been here many times in the past and it was always good food. Today was not good at all. We were there at about 1:00 pm and there was still a crowd of people from lunch time. We were seated right away and our waitress got our drinks. The buffet was horrible. Had to wait about 4 minutes... More

Great Amish food in the heart of Amish country! Can't go wrong with the family-style meals for a large group. Would not recommend family-style if just a few people...too much (I made that mistake once)! Great buffet for a sampling of everything! I make this a stop every year when travelling through to visit family in Michigan!

My wife and I both enjoy the amish door, with odd favorites like noodles an mashed potatos and great broasted chicken. But DON'T forget the bakery and AWESOME bag apple pie you will be back for more.

Amish Door has the best salad bar and their fried chicken is delicious! Be sure to stop by the bakery and pick a loaf (or more :-) of fresh baked bread. The cracked wheat is one of our favorites!

The salad bar is the best!! Always fresh. The broasted chicken is so tasty. The turkey dinner is wonderful. The dressing is yummy. The mashed potatoes are so creamy. Everything on the menu is delicious. Whenever I've brought friends and family to Amish Door, eveyone raves about their meal. And of course the bakery is next door and that's just... More

Disappointed it wasn't more authentic. Not really Amish since they use electricity and waitresses flowered aprons not true Amish clothing. My chicken breast was flavorful but extremely dry like maybe it had been microwaved? Extremely small portion of chicken and also had small portion of cottage cheese with canned pineapple and peaches on it. Not even homemade canned fruit. Not... More

We ate here on an October Monday evening. It was not crowded but it was busy. We ordered off the menu - roast beef sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy and the salad bar. We took half of our generous sandwich portions home for another meal. We ate breakfast here the next morning as well and the stuffed raspberry french... More

WOW! We just *happened* onto this restaurant....and are we glad we did!! My family was visiting in the area and not sure where we were going to eat. We had seen a roadway sign, and it was nearing lunch time, so we decided (just by the name!) to go there. We went on a Monday afternoon (no tour buses there,... More

Whenever we visit Amish country, we have to stop here! The buffet is wonderful... the best broccoli salad I've ever had, flavorful chicken, mashed potatoes/gravy, noodles, stuffing, ham, corn, bread pudding, and much more. Then, when you're done with dinner, you can visit the gift shop on the second floor, or the bakery (yummy fry pies!). Can't wait to go... More

We ate at the Amish Door for a Saturday night dinner. Although the line to get in was around the building, it moved relatively quickly. We were seated in a booth and proceeded to order the family style menu. We selected turkey for our entree, along with mashed potatoes/gravy, stuffing, and corn. We also enjoyed the salad bar, and the... More
