Just walking into this place makes your mouth water and brings a smile to your face. It smells incredible and the staff is wonderfully friendly and always ready to give you a big ol' sample slice of any bread you would like! The bread choices are incredible and fresh, the prices are a bit higher than your grocery store but...

Great Harvest Bread Co. is a bakery. It is not a restaurant. If you are new to the area and are looking for a new place to eat, don't put Great Harvest on your list. You won't get a seat, and you'll be disappointed.

Excellent service, great bread, scones, cookies. They expect you to try a free sample with real butter every time you visit...HUGE sample.

Great Harvest is a really friendly, feel-good place that has a variety of fabulous bread. Whenever I visit my brothers (in Washington DC and Savannah), I must bring a couple of loaves of Great Harvest bread with me. They even want a box of loaves for their Christmas presents!
