If you want decent seafood, you won't find it in Cinci or this area. Stick to the beef...or go to the coast.
Stopped by for Lunch during the week. Service was good never saw the difference in quality from the dining room to the lounge were I was. Soup could have been hotter but I'm picky about that. Scallops blackened which came with already desiginated sides not sure how I feel about that, I'm sure I could have changed something if I... More
Had a nice New Year's Eve dinner with Crab Cakes, Lobster Bisque and a seafood platter. Crab Cakes were meaty and full. Had to search to find much lobster in the bisque, but still enjoyed. We found it was a good idea to go for an early meal because it does get crowded later.
We ate here for lunch during our visit to the Western & Southern Open tennis tournament in August of 2013. For 2, the price for lunch came to $44.50 including drinks, tax and tip. Although fairly pricey for lunch, the seafood we had was delicious. I had the shanghai sampler consisting of steamed salmon, scallops and shrimp and it was... More
It has almost become a tradition that it seems as if we go out for dinner on Christmas Eve, we end up at Mitchell’s Fish Market. It is hard to find fault at Mitchell’s – except perhaps the price which is a little on the high side. I ordered something this year off menu (sort of) and the chef’s made... More
Nice Lobster special with 2tails veggies and potatoes. Watch for various specials at this good restaurant in Union Centre. Ask for a booth. Or bring a small group and reserve the captain's room. Fresh fish is well prepared. Delicious desserts, too.
Fresh and delicious with great service every time. Mitchell's doesn't over reach but serves traditional seafood dishes that are wonderful. The crab cakes are delicious as an appetizer or a meal. Try the Market Trio to sample the three main preparations for all fish dishes. Mitchell's is my go to seafood food restaurant.
I'm really picky about seafood. We lived in New Orleans for years and I feel foolish eating seafood in Ohio. Good prices and good quality. I had the Grilled oysters and Lobster Bisque. The oysters were great! My husband had the special two fresh water lobster. Great portion sizes and good value. I noticed a slight fish odor when arriving... More
We liked everything about it. The service was exceptional and the seafood was fresh and well prepared.
Yes it's a chain but a well executed one at that. The place is well appointed, staff attentive and the food is perfect. Portion size is good and the fish is clearly good quality. Price was about right for what you'd expect. Would recommend.
