My beef has nothing to do with food, which I found excellent and speaks well for the chef and kitchen staff. Service was attentive without being overbearing. I was annoyed with the clown that passed as live entertainment and who played classical music on an electric guitar, much too loudly. Why would a very fine establishment hire such a noisemaker... Have visited this restaurant multitude of times at the past...it has been good ...but our last experience was great. Our foodie friends have not been there..they were equally impressed. Our reservations was early. Friendly service was wonderful, food courses came in a timely base. We tasted a variety of dishes and enjoyed them all. Will return soon.

Came out on a Saturday night for dinner and drinks. Sat at the bar. Our first bartender Shane was terrible. Totally unfriendly, could care less about us and could care less if we wanted to order or not. We stayed and got the other bartenders attention. His name was Ryan. He was wonderful. Very attentive and did a great job.... More

My husband and I took time out of our staycation to have lunch here. I have been here several times over the past years with girlfriends and have really enjoyed it. This time was no exception. From the flavored butter to the homemade gelato everything had an extra touch with great presentation. Their pomme frites were some of the best... More

This is our monthly date night location. PRO: There is not a bad seat in the place - looking onto a rustic small town main street. When (During Christmas season the lights must really create a romantic Hallmark type atmosphere.) If you like "live" quality guitar soloist entertainment, reserve a table near the bar area! The music sets are good... More

What a lovely little gem the Inn of Versailles is, located in charming little Versailles Ohio. It is right on the town square in this quaint German Catholic village in Southern Darke County. Great food. Reasonable prices. Fresh food - great Chef! Locally grown produce and locally grown chicken and beef. Lovely atmosphere - if you are there for a... More

Second visit to this place was even better! Had a date night with the hubby and we both enjoyed it so much! We started off with the squash blossom appetizer. They were perfectly done, although the goat cheese was a bit too strong for my taste, he loved them...and the accompanying sauce was the perfect flavor enhancer. I almost ordered... More

We thought the food here was above average and the pricing was below average for an upscale restaurant. The food is not meat and potatoes. it is more on the upscale preppy food side and I believe they have live entertainment on the weekends. We would do this again. they stop serving at 9:00PM on weeknights

I have had the pleasure of 4 meals at Michael Anthonys in the last year and they never fail to impress. Locally sourced food might be the secret. Our party of 4 had a wonderful meal with attentive service. If you are looking for upscale eating, give this a try. Great spot for foodies!

My husband and I recently re-visited Michael Anthony's before a concert. Service is attentive but not over bearing. We shared the antipasto appetizer....fantastic! Chilled grilled veggies, a mix of cheeses, olives, fig bread...it could be meal for one. My husband had the French Onion Soup and declared it one of the best he's ever had. My husband loves French Onion... More
