Juan the owner & his family serve authentic Mexican not that Americanized crap. We are frequent visitors there. Juan takes time to get to know his customers without hovering & always make sure you are pleased. Highly recommend

$2 Margaritas on Tuesday. Sit on the patio. Its pretty nice! Also, the spicy chicken tortilla soup is the best around!

Mexican is Mexican and can only be so good. Therefore, I judge Mexican restaurants on the quality fothe their chips and salsa, and this was possibly the best salsa and chips I have ever had! Nuff said!!

Have eaten here about a dozen times. It's good and everyone is always happy. Nice family owned place and is clean. It's very big and is nice especially because they can always seat a larger group no problem. I've never had anything "bad". Service is always fine and the food is freshly prepared to order. Very moderately priced.

Went to El Campesino with a fairly large group, We had a great time with good food, good drinks, and fairly odd baseball décor! Service was good, fairly large portions, delicious margaritas.

The restaurant Must have changed owners. It is not as good as we remember. Portion sizes seemed smaller and margaritas did not taste the same. The chips and salsa are still yummy though!

The menu is along the lines of most Mexican restaurants in the area. The food quality is better than most. The service is hit or miss. Some times it is really good. Other times it is very poor.

The service at El Campesino is good. The wait staff is attentive and "authenitically" Mexican. The decor is left over from Max Doogan's, which was a sports bar. The food is average - most of the flavors sort of melt together and are not quite fresh. Not old, just not really fresh tasting. I asked for some hot salsa, and... More

Cute place, with real Mexican food, and reasonable prices. Had lunch here and would go back again
