Chef's special (ham & cheese panini) & turkey and Brie wrap w/ side salad. White sangria was lovely. Both of our meals were fresh, delicious, and had generous portions. Prices were easy on the wallet. Employees (cashiers & attendants) were friendly and gracious. I'd definitely include this cafe in your visit to this phenomenol museum.

If you read the reviews on the Museum Cafe at the Toledo Art Museum, you will see the inherent limitations of a travel review site: The "restaurant" category includes everything from cafes to fast food, to cloth tablecloth fine restaurants. This is an excellent cafeteria/cafe that provides a very good experience, but it's hard to compare it with a full-service... More

Very nice, simple menu in a casual setting (order food upon entering, self-serve beverage service, food brought to your table). The setting is wonderful especially the glass atrium which feels like eating out-of-doors. Simple sandwich/wrap/salad offerings at a reasonable price for generous serving. Unhurried and relaxed atmosphere surrounded by beautiful things from a marvelous museum. I have been coming here... More

We visited on a weekday afternoon. It is a cafeteria style restaurant. An unpleasant lady took our order. That was all forgotten by a very nice lunch experience . The dining room is beautiful . The food was delicious! I had a pulled pork sandwich and it was very gourmet. Very glad we tried this place and will look forward... More

The restaurant at The Toledo Museum of Art has excellent food! You order, then sit down in the lovely dining room and they bring your food to you. Art work in present evreywhere in the room, so the atmosphere is great! We had soup and sandwiches and it was delicious! Hats off to the Chef!

This brunch cost us 35.00 per person. There was no waiter to bring us drinks, everything was self serve. The lines were long and they ran out of plates and did not put them up right away like they promised a lady and I. There was no carving station, no made to order omelets, the waffle looked like they were... More

On our way home to Akron from Detroit we decided to make a stop at the Museum Cafe a destination for lunch. Where else can you get such fresh and flavorful fast food so to speak. You order from the menu board from such items as homemade soups or short rib sandwiches upon entering. Then find your seat and the... More

We enjoyed having lunch at the Cafe while visiting the museum. However, why in the world is this restaurant rated number 1 in Toledo? I feel this is very misleading for visitors. This is not a sit down restaurant, it is an order-at-the-register-and-they-bring-your-food place. Though I would highly recommend eating at the Cafe if you are visiting the museum, I... More

We tried two entrees: short ribs and Ohio peaches and gourmet burger of the day topped with havarti and cheeries. After ordering, follow the stairs in the opposite end of the dining space up to an airy room with a great outside view. Such a relaxing space and a pleasant variety of tasty lunch selections.
