Delicious gourmet lunch - an artful experience!

This was the perfect place for a lovely, light lunch after touring the Toledo Museum of Arts. We were treated to great coffee and gourmet sandwiches. Fast food style ordering, then food delivered to your table. Kid's pizza was pretty bad. All dough with what almost looked like some cheese painted on the top. No, wait - real art paint would have been thicker. Salad was decent, as was soup, grilled cheese was ok. Prices reasonable.

1. Our food was excellent. 2. The cafe is very nice. 3. Our server was just not with it. On a scale of five she is a 1.5. Who failed to train her? First we ordered at the counter, I was handed a cup for their very good coffee. We helped ourselves to beverages, found a dirty window table, used... More

We stopped here during our museum visit given the high reviews. I found the experience to be fairly average. Upon entering the cafe area, we barely received a 'hello'. The counter clerk was more interested in gossiping at a loud volume about personal business with a colleague standing nearby refilling one of the displays. When we were ready to order,... More

We stopped by here on our drive to Chicago. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. Had the braised short rib with Ohio peaches sandwich and it was excellent! My father had the lamb stew and said it was also very good. The kids had the grilled cheese and one said it was "the best grilled cheese ever." Would... More

Really good food. Asparagus panini is great. Salads are tasty and they will customize if you need. Great atmosphere and there is a beautiful sun room at the end where you can eat.

Food is not superb but it's cafe style so don't expect gourmet but being located in the most amazing structure in Toledo (or region for that matter) The Toledo Museum of Art, please spend a day there to soak up all the art and beauty of this building, have lunch in an amazing place and learn about it's history... I had a sandwich with tea and it was very good and the cost was reasonable. The atmosphere was pleasant and we enjoyed talking with other people there.

If the museum is serving Lobster Bisque, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trying it. Excellent at a very good price. The small roll that comes with the soup is very good. The dining areas are attractive with artful decoration all around. Lots of glass in this dining gallery comes from the Glass Pavilion studios across the street.

One of my favorite places to enjoy lunch in Toledo. After visiting the beautiful Toledo Museum of Art it's easy to dine in the lovely Museum Cafe. The menu is fresh, creative and appealing. Definitely worth the visit!
