Toledo Museum Cafe is pretty good.

They actually have an on-site cafe in the main building of the museum and there is a cafe in the glass pavilion so I'm not such which is being reviewed here, but I went to both and both are very good. We wanted to catch an exhibit here but hadn't had lunch so it was an obvious choice but we were amazed that it was one of the best choices we could have made. If you are looking for the best burger or pizza in town, this isn't it. But the soups, salads and sandwiches were artfully prepared and delicious. I... More

Really, such a pleasant surprise. You don't expect much when it is a small cafe at a tourist attraction but this place goes out of his way to make sure they serve good food at a reasonable price .. my salad was delicious and very unique buttermilk ranch dressing. My meal was less than $10 gorgeous surroundings and really a... More

We had a late lunch here last Saturday afternoon after spending a few hours at the Toledo Art Museum. We had to make a long road trip shortly thereafter and didn't want to eat a huge meal, so we decided to split the cafe's pulled pork sandwich special that comes with a side of kettle chips. You order and pay... More

Fast food style ordering, then food delivered to your table. Kid's pizza was pretty bad. All dough with what almost looked like some cheese painted on the top. No, wait - real art paint would have been thicker. Salad was decent, as was soup, grilled cheese was ok. Prices reasonable.

This was the perfect place for a lovely, light lunch after touring the Toledo Museum of Arts. We were treated to great coffee and gourmet sandwiches. I enjoyed every bite of a roasted asparagus and pear panini - an unusual, winning combination! Naturally lit by windows that looked onto the museum grounds, the service was great and the environment was... More

1. Our food was excellent. 2. The cafe is very nice. 3. Our server was just not with it. On a scale of five she is a 1.5. Who failed to train her? First we ordered at the counter, I was handed a cup for their very good coffee. We helped ourselves to beverages, found a dirty window table, used... More

We stopped here during our museum visit given the high reviews. I found the experience to be fairly average. Upon entering the cafe area, we barely received a 'hello'. The counter clerk was more interested in gossiping at a loud volume about personal business with a colleague standing nearby refilling one of the displays. When we were ready to order,... More

We stopped by here on our drive to Chicago. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. Had the braised short rib with Ohio peaches sandwich and it was excellent! My father had the lamb stew and said it was also very good. The kids had the grilled cheese and one said it was "the best grilled cheese ever." Would... More

Really good food. Asparagus panini is great. Salads are tasty and they will customize if you need. Great atmosphere and there is a beautiful sun room at the end where you can eat.
