The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Everyone was so friendly. This was my first visit but I have found my favorite Chinese restaurant. and I will definitely be back.

They can customize dishes for you upon request. If you want no MSG, water-based made, sauce on aside (whatever you name it). They will make it they way you want with satisfaction guaranteed.

They serve excellent Chinese-AMERICAN food. Try their authentic Chinese menu for something less bland.

Ordered food to go which we have done many times from this restaurant. Ordere Alond chicken and much to my dismay I found a piece of metal from the scrub brush they use when cleaning the wok each time they cook a dish. I called and advised them of this, they were very grateful we called and let them know.... More

Decor has not changed in 25 years but the the kitchen staff know their seasonings. They do not always use as much garlic and ginger as they should but it is there. The very good rating is in comparison to other Chinese restaurants in Toledo. Wait staff often changes so service can vary but has always been acceptable. I trust... More

I cannot tell you how grateful I am that this restaurant has been managed so well over the years! Not only is the building iconic (it was once a roller skating rink when my parents were kids), but the staff is gracious and kept on their toes. The food is always wonderful and piping hot! If one thing is wrong,... More

We went to Jing Chaun a few times and liked it until the last time we went. The food just didn't sit well with us and was very greasy. Inside décor was lacking. NOT the best Chinese food around! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Best hot and sour soup. Egg rolls are crispy and fresh. I usually order mu sho pork which is always delicious. Jing Chuan never disappoints.

Its good, but not great. Very classically focused to make the tourists happy. But, if you like Chinese food, and not Chinese food interpreted for US-midwestern palates then choose another restaurant. But, if you are timid and unadventurous in your Chinese food preferences, then you cannot go wrong eating here.

Dinner for Two at Jing Chuan: We began with Sizzling Rice soup, chicken broth with chicken, shrimp, bean sprouts, water chestnut slices and a cake of crispy rice added at the last minute to produce the sizzle. The serving provided two diners with two bowls each and leftovers. Next up the fried dumplings. These potstickers were served with dipping sauce... More
