Didn't know what to expect, but remembered it from MASH program. Hot dogs were good quality and the sides were generous. Many returning regulars were there for lunch. The decor is interesting although the place is dimly lit and makes seeing all the memorabilia a little bit hard to see and read. I don't do spicy so these chili dogs... More

Tony Packos has been in Toledo for years and made famous by the TV show MASH. If you're in the Toledo area you MUST visit Tony Packos. They have the best chili dogs anywhere and my favorite is the chili sundae. The best! A must do on your Toledo, OH list.

Two dogs, chili, fried pickles and peppers, delicious! Along with Inky's, this is my other absolutely can't miss restaurant in Toledo.

We stopped here on a late evening road trip home after hearing about it forever on M*A*S*H. Full service bar.and fantastic food. Chicken and dumplings soup, great spicy chilli. AND FANTASTIC CHILLI DOGS. My only issue is that its 120 miles from my home.

After a romp around the Toledo Museum of Art, I looked at my Toledo magazine I picked up at a rest stop and decided to check this place out. Wow, were we ever surprised! The food was great, the service was OK. My main complaint about the service was that I had informed them we were first time visitors and... More

As a M*A*S*H fan, I had to stop. Glad I did. The food isn't gourmet, but I knew that. It's a hot dog place, though they do have other options. And, a number of sides to choose from as well. It even had a bar. The food wasn't great, but decent. Service was quick. Prices cheap. Order cafeteria style and... More

Toledo was where we started our "Circle Lake Erie" trip. Oh yeah, we did lunch today also. We stopped in at Tony Packo’s - but Corporal Klinger was not there. You may recall that Jamie Farr, the actor who portrayed Klinger on M.A.S.H. was from Toledo and mentioned Tony Packo’s at least a few times on the television show. We... More

The history of Tony Packos is interesting. The menu has so much potential. The service was good. However, the food left a lot to be desired. Hot dogs are more like a Hilllshire smoked sausage split in half. The chili isn't as good as some I have had from a can. The cabbage rolls are very good as are the... More
