After a romp around the Toledo Museum of Art, I looked at my Toledo magazine I picked up at a rest stop and decided to check this place out. Wow, were we ever surprised! The food was great, the service was OK. My main complaint about the service was that I had informed them we were first time visitors and... More

As a M*A*S*H fan, I had to stop. Glad I did. The food isn't gourmet, but I knew that. It's a hot dog place, though they do have other options. And, a number of sides to choose from as well. It even had a bar. The food wasn't great, but decent. Service was quick. Prices cheap. Order cafeteria style and... More

Toledo was where we started our "Circle Lake Erie" trip. Oh yeah, we did lunch today also. We stopped in at Tony Packo’s - but Corporal Klinger was not there. You may recall that Jamie Farr, the actor who portrayed Klinger on M.A.S.H. was from Toledo and mentioned Tony Packo’s at least a few times on the television show. We... More

The history of Tony Packos is interesting. The menu has so much potential. The service was good. However, the food left a lot to be desired. Hot dogs are more like a Hilllshire smoked sausage split in half. The chili isn't as good as some I have had from a can. The cabbage rolls are very good as are the... More

The hotdogs are great as are the stuffed cabbage. My sis could not get enough of the pickles. Loved the chili, but a bit spicy for me. Went back another time on the same trip it was so good.

Traveling inter-city by car on a Friday evening, Tony Packo's was pretty much en route. How could we not stop there, considering that we were hungry? The outside or décor inside won't blow you away, but the food just might. I didn't think I could tackle the M.O.A.D. (Mother Of All Dogs) plate, but my son did. The M.O.A.D. is... More

We went there twice on a recent trip and found it to be well worth visiting.great Hungarian specialties, like stuffed cabbage, and chicken paprikas. Our extra side dish of fried pickles and peppers, with ranch dressing, salsa, and spicy ketchup for dipping, was great the kids loved them. German potato salad was also great.Try the original location. For a real sense... More

I was first here in the early 1980's. People knew about it from Klinger on the show MASH. He mentioned it a lot. We went there twice on a recent trip and found it to be well worth visiting. The stuffed cabbage pleased some and not others. We all loved the chicken paprikash (although I know they spell it different... More
