My Daughter's family lives near Bancroft and Reynolds in Toledo and all 5 of us shared Christmas dinner carry-out from Wei Wei. It was my first time eating from there. We had a smorgasbord of Chinese: Shrimp egg foo young; General Tso Chicken; Sweet and sour chicken; and Lo Mein noodles - all with white rices, various sauces and, of... More

Wei Wei is a fantastic restaurant. The food really is wonderful and I have never had a bad dish or experience there. The outside of the restaurant makes it look like it is less than what it is on the inside. Tonight I had the General Tso's chicken as a dinner special which included an egg roll, soup or salad,... They have some of the best noodle and veggie dishes I have ever had. (Don't eat meat so I can't speak to that but looks like it's probably good and everyone seems thrilled).

Based on the reviews I read I thought I'd take the family there for dinner. The exterior is not pretty, but don't judge based on that. The service was outstanding! The waiter was great and the owner stopped by our table a few times to check-in with us. We ordered a good mix of dishes - egg rolls, hot &... More

Wonderful authentic Chinese food. I ordered the General Tso's chicken and the tofu fried rice. Both dishes were wonderful. We have company did the dishes with some egg rolls there were some of the best that I've had. I agree with everyone else that the decor is not that great but then again I'm here for the food not the... More

This was by far one of the best Chinese restaurants I have eaten at. I had the cold cucumber appraiser (just plain great. Great flavor), and the Shanghai noodles with pork (full of flavor, great portion size). My wife had the fried tofu in special sauce (unbelievable flavor and quality). The place is small, but not too small. The owner... More

I have lived in China and visited China many times, as a child, I often ate dim sum in Chinatown in NYC so I have a basis on which to opine regarding Chinese restaurants. WeiWei is probably the best and most authentic Chinese food in Toledo. The menu is eclectic regarding the different Chinese cuisines. Moreover, the kitchen is responsive... More

We recently visited Toledo and ate at Wei Wei Noodles two days in a row. In fact we have eaten at Wei Wei several times since my last review, and have never been disappointed. My husband had a dinner bowl of Seafood Udon Noodle Soup that was excellent. The seafood was fresh and the soup was flavorful, not fishy. I... More

Wei Wei has yummy Chinese food comparable to a typical place in a thriving Chinatown (SF/Chicago/NY). Lunch specials are a good value. Big menu selection, from classics like orange chicken, to various hot pots, to chinese pancakes, duck, and even Vietnamese Pho with a wide selection of meat cuts available (for example, Pho #8 is very rare eye of round,... Have visited twice, about 2 months apart around lunch time. The place is small & looks closed from the outside because it is so dark inside. My friend loves the chicken dish but asks for so many changes to the dish that it is no longer a menu item. I had the General Tso's chicken, (medium hot) the last time... More
