Until last night the only sushi I'd ever had was avocado roll, and my daughter tells me that's not really sushi. It was a weekend night so the big hibachi places were out for dinner unless we wanted to wait a long time. Since all we wanted was sushi, we didn't want to wait. After a few searches, we settled... This was our second visit and it will be our last. Restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly. We ordered promptly but an hour later still did not have our food. Waitress keep saying just a few more minutes. Finally asked for our bill for the tea and salad. Waitress said no charge. Manager or lead chef came rushing... More

We enjoy Kotbuki for its reliably good food and reasonable prices. We almost always order Dolset Bipimbob (sp). It's so good. The meals come with soup and salad.

We have never left disappointed. Great summer special that we hope they can maintain for all seasons, mango something.. crab roll. Yummo! Owner is friendly as is staff. Their waitstaff also appears to be the same each visit, which is reassuring. (A competitor down the street has extremely high turn over.) I would definitely recommend this place!

The food here is very good and portions are generous. It is entertaining to be at a hibachi table watching and experiencing the fun of asian food preparation as well. Get ready to catch some food in your mouth!

I was impressed from the moment we walked in - easy to find, quaint atmosphere, very friendly service. I was even more impressed with the portion size (strongly recommend the sushi dinner #4) for the price. This was one of the few times I have left a sushi restaurant completely full. Also of note - keep an eye on Groupon... More

Loved the food although the show was a bit over done. Didn't like the obscene little man putting oil on the griddle -- especially not with children present. Good was great however and done to my specifications. Good, fun atmosphere at the hibachi tables.

Ok, now some people do not like raw fish. Ii never tried it before. Once I had it, I am converted. My wife only eats the cooked stuff like the california roll, but atleast she'll go. Nice place to go, many memories.

I haven't been here in a couple of years and things have changed and not necessarily for the best. The service was good and the food was OK but some of the things that were on the menu were gone such as broiled fish and a plain tray of Sashimi were not to be found. Having been to Japan a... More
