Decent, Not Great.

I came in hoping for authentic, fresh Italian. I soon discovered that it is very Americanized Italian food, made cheaply and often from frozen food. Despite my initial disappointment, their food is actually decent for what it is and the price is cheap. It's certainly not one of my favorites, but I... read more

Went back with my son's family. I had not been there for over 29 years. The food is better than I remembered. And I remembered great food from back then. The food came quickly and the service was wonderful. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are. In the basement. The steps are awkward.

I lived in Akron and Stow most of my life before moving to the East Coast for work. When I return home for holidays and vacation, my first (and most important) stop is the Parasson's in Stow. It's the place where I had hundreds of family dinners over decades. It's the place with the best garlic bread, the best sauce,... More

I love their sausage, mushroom spaghetti. Their salads are fresh and good. I've never had a bad meal at this restaurant. Everyone is kind, friendly and willing to go the extra mile. Their take out is always hot and on-time.

My family and I have going to this restaurant for quite a few years back to the time I was in middle school. Back than we did preferred their sandwiches especial the Tony Special and Rebecca special (which they do not have anymore). But, their pizza was hit or miss sometimes it was ok and other times it was horrible.... More

I went to Kent State in the late 70s and this restaurant was one of the favorite places to go when you were really hungry and didn't have a lot of cash. My memory was that the food was great, but we know how food memories don't always hold up well. SO after 30 years, I was pleased to discover... More

No reservations required. Food is excellent. The antipasto entree with their home made creamy Italian dressing definitely fills you up. Add the hot garlic bread and you're in heaven! Will definitely go back again, and again, and again...

Grabbed some baked pasta for two of family . The take-out portions seem even smaller than the last time we got it last winter. When you get take-out the portions are still big enough for two meals for most unless you are starved. I suggest getting an extra order of bread for eating the second day. The baked penne with... Since I first moved to Ohio in the 70's we've been visiting Parasson's. It's changed a little over the years, the pizzas are no longer $1.15, but it's still a fun place to eat and visit. My favorite is the antipasto salad.

The prices are great as well as the food! We go to the restaurant frequently. We also order meals to go when we are eating at home. Great lasagna and salads as well as the garlic bread. The atmosphere is okay, but the service is good.
