A big, hearty country breakfast - pork loin or ham, 2 eggs, hash browns, toast or biscuits and endless coffee - with friendly service all for around $17 for two.

We had the sauerkraut with sausage and the chicken fried steak. The sauerkraut is made in-house and was very good...not too sour. The potatos were weird because they were almost gelatinous. I did not eat them. My husband enjoyed the chicken fried steak, but it was covered with a thick gravy that I would not have liked. Overall, the prices are... More

Had been a little while since our last visit, and this was our first time since they have new owners. It was Sunday night, about 6:30 when we arrived and there were only a few tables occupied. The hostess seated us immediately (very friendly and nice as always) and our server was at the table promptly. Food arrived in good... More

Stopped in with a friend who raved about the atmosphere, food. and unbeatable prices. I was not disappointed. The only problem was choosing what to try, it all looked so good. The chicken salad sandwich was great, on fresh bread, toasted. Sampled the home made chips and had to force myself to save them for my son. No room to... More

Stopped for breakfast and choose off the "three for $5.99 menu. We had biscuits, gravy and ham, and eggs, home fries and toast, and a side of coffee cake. Food was good, gravy was one of the best every tried. Coffee was also some of the best. Can not best the value. Will stop again.

Their selections and prices are wonderful. You feel like you have visited a friend's house for breakfast. Service is fast and friendly, but you are not rushed to finish and leave.

Stopped by on Sunday for Lunch. Had found this restaurant with Siri on Iphone. Had the broasted chicken which was quite tasty. The green bean and mashed potato sides tasted just like they were made at home! Their bread is very good; soft! We bought two loaves to take home. Service was prompt and friendly. One request, clean the carpets!... More

Stopped for lunch as we were driving through on I-70. It was well worth the diversion. Super friendly and great service. Of the four meals we had the chicken fried chicken was the absolute best. Home made chips, fried corn bread and fried apple sides were all close runner ups! If I lived in the area I'd eat here all... More
