there many time and never disappointed.

My wife and I get there about once a month. We have never been disappointed. I have tried most of the items. I like the sausage and sourkraut best, but that's just me. Their coffee is 50 cents, which makes the total bill less. good family atmosphere, although most of the customers are older... read more

The homemade bread is amazing. They have a variety of options and have a few kid items. The mac and cheese is delicious. Family owned business and very nice atmosphere.

This is a nice family style restaurant. Judging by the evening that we ate there, they definitely cater to the older and local crowd. It is a nice place for retirees to relax and enjoy food that they can trust. I had meatloaf with mashed potatoes and my wife had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Both were exactly what... More

My husband and I went there for dinner last night.. That was our first time in.. Kelsey was our server and she did a wonderful job making sure she took good care of us. The fried chicken was the best that i have ever had and the prices were very affordable. We will be coming back very soon to try... More

The hamsteak is large, juicy. Homemade bread is excellent. Save room for desert. One of the best strawberry pies I've had in a long time. It was not overly sweet and there were more berries than glaze. Crust was perfect and not soggy. Husband's burger was reported as very good. and he loved the choclate cake with carmel icing. Wait... We had a union meeting here and had breakfast. It was basically good but I thought the biscuits had a vintage life as they were a little stale. Since that was all I had to eat, I had to judge based on the food the others consumed. The coffee was good and waitress visited frequently to keep the cups full.... More

This family owned restaurant does its best to serve home style food at reasonable prices. Nothing fancy, just good food. After a year away the Collier family is running the restaurant again and things are back on track.

On the road back home to Illinois, we came across this great family restaurant thanks to Yelpers. The restaurant is reminiscent of an old Bill Knapps with white wood and green booths. The restaurant itself is large inside and the staff, especially the woman owner, has that southern hospitality and charm. The food is plentiful, a great value and definitely... More

A medium sized fine, family run eatery serving up first rate fare. I was impressed by how neat and clean everything was. Service was prompt and professional. My breakfast arrived just as ordered and the presentation was nice. I ordered the two egg breakfast with maple sausage and the sausage far exceeded my expectations. Prices are more than reasonable.
